Can some of you please tell me why McLaren are quicker than Mercedes this year? And also why Mercedes might be quicker than McLaren in 2014 because of the changes in Engine Regulations?

They are planning to go 'light' next year in order to maker a big push for 2014 when the engine changes come in. It's no guarantee that it will be worth it and Mercedes could end up pulling out if it fails because of the money they will be putting in including Hamilton's wages. Mercedes have the same chance as everyone of being fast, they won't have any advantage from it...

More like this /gb/forum/ViewTopic.asp?TopicId=18778#scroll because that thread is specifically for Hamilton's move. Should be for general driver movements imo.
