Good to see sane admins here. Maybe there's a award somewhere for that, afterall internet games are full of fruitcakes as admins & mods.

Always thought wikipedia was to put in all kinds of things, looks like to me that someone in particular has something against this game and is moving his sticks to see it removed...

Maybe they have a "Best Mods and Admins Award" somewhere. Or maybe "Most Stable MMO" (though we kind of lost that after the tyre changes.....)..... Maybe a "Strong Community Award"?
But more seriously, some kind of award for racing management games? Because GPRO is pretty unique in that respect.

I still have team in hattrick. Have it 2 years. I am logging in my team +/- once per week as a routine. It is not a game, but joke!
I have accounts in 5 online games. From those gpro in my opinion is the best (and surely the best racing game, i tried at least 5 to find it out), but hattrick worst. That would be precize opinion.
In one of those games ( www.rockingrackets.com ) i found an interesting feature - manager is getting points for voting for site in several MMO sites. When manager has 1000 points, he/she can exchange it for VIP (supporter) credits for 1 season.

But how to win an award. Does anyone of you have a clue?
Personally, filling all rookie groups with active players shoud be achievement enough. Even to the nerds on wikipedia.

Hattrick or GPRO?
Apples or Oranges?
I played hattrick for 4 1/2 years and finally quit about a year and a half ago because it was strictly a money management game. Tactics had so little to do with the results of the matches, it was almost always clear which team was better than the other, even at the National Team level. Not to say that tactics didn't matter at all, but they didn't as much as they should have.
In GPRO, sure, money management is extremely important, but tactics decide the races. A slower car can beat a faster car based on pit strategy alone sometimes. Two evenly matched cars can perform differently based on the setups given them by their managers. Tactically speaking, GPRO far surpasses Hattrick.
Football/Soccer is the world's #1 sport. Auto racing is more of a niche sport, but followed widely and world-wide nonetheless.
If Wiki demands that someone name GPRO an award-winner in order to be relevant, I nominate GPRO for "Best Online Game Ignored by Wikipedia", "Best Online Racing Simulation" and the "FOBY Award".
In an unrelated topic, "The Fobies" should really be an award given each season to the best questions in a variety of topics on the GPRO Boards. That is something I'd love to see.
