Signe, don't think so. Your name and your brother's sound exactly the same in romanian, I figure.

I don't know how, you pronounce them in romanian. Didn't find it in that article.

ehmm

['Yan-ne] (with the y like in ''yes'', a like in ''car'', oh and make sure to not to skip any letters)

['Vää-nä-nen] (with v like in 'van'' & the ä quite like in ''cat'', and again, don't even dream of shortcuts like dropping any of my letters off!)

simples :/

No matter what they say sounds funny to me, laughed my ass off when listening to some estonian F1 commentators on a youtube video. It just sounds... funnily weird to a native finnish :p

Regarding the languages and pronunciation, as far as I'm concerned, God created people and Poles. I am sure Na'vi is easier.

They are kinda similar, aren't they? To me, Czech and Slovak languages often sound funny, because of their similarity to Polish. We share a lot of words, a bit changed and pronounced with a different accent, makes it hilarious sometimes :)

Star Wars with Czech dubbing is an absolute classic! :)

Funny thing is that at French lessons, teacher used to call us by our French correspondent names. We had a girl in the class, called Alina, who in French is Aline, which sounds like my name. When she called Alin, I was relieved. I was Alain :)

Gary: G(a)ree

The (a) is the same as in hat.

Fahy: Just ignore the (h) and say it like F-ay or like (A) in the alphabet.
