5 races kind of devalues the game. Season 54 this da will be in elite. Season 56-57 he could be on his way to becoming elite champ of this game.

5 races is little, but even with a reset, he could win his rookie group. season 54-55 promote in amateur. 56-57 promote in pro -58-59 in master and compete for championship in 60

I would have thought it would be nice to hear from Admins on why the punishment was so little that they might as well just let him continue as though nothing happened.

I wish I hadnt thrown my old laptop away 3 weeks ago ,I"m sure my wife would enjoy this game especially when paypal account is in her name.

On topic, I think you guys would be shocked if you would know how many DA's there are and who runs them. This said no, i don't have a clue myself, merely pointing out that there is probably shitloads who haven't even been caught yet. It is a disease for which the cure hasn't been found yet, no matter how hard admins try to sort them out.

The punishment doesn't really help preventing DA's, does it? It doesn't really look like the admins try it THAT hard to sort them out.

simple to close accounts which they consider suspicious. Also it is necessary to think over what arguments are necessary for saving the account

You'll never prevent it, but a 5 race ban isn't really scaring people.. is it?

I'd AT LEAST rookie reset the "main" account, close the second account and possibly have additional punishment in terms of half the regular income for 3 seasons or so. You'd need to feel a punishment, not piss your pants from laughing and play on when you're done with that.

Even when you reset the account to rookie, they would still have all the data they gathered while using that DA Unless they would have been some stupid not to save the data elsewhere.

And unless you put them all together in one rookie group it would be harsh on the newbie players to have a punished DA (with loads of data) in their group

So, because the damage is already done they don't need to be punished harshly?

I am not saying they should not be punished but read what i edited. I would even consider putting people who reset their accounts themselves in the same group as i believe it is not funny for a newbie to be in a group with people with data.

There is never the perfect solution. And yes, people who reset (or are resetted) shouldn't be placed with new players.. but that's a different suggestion (I think it's been suggested quite a few times already)

Well that is exactly the point i try to make.

5 races ban -> definetly not enough.
kick them out of the game -> income loss for the the game.
reset their account -> harsh on newbies.

This said the ones caught are mostlikely the stupid ones or the ones who slipped up, as there are possibly plenty left who are clever enough not to get caught

Punishments will not fix the problem.

Completely disagree with that. If you know your account will be completely reset, years of work down the drain you will definitely be less likely to cheat.

Permanent bans just result in the cheating going underground for a while. The punishment has got to somehow involve making the cheats not want to play at all. We need them to quit by choice.

Ah that's ok then, let's all get one.

5 race ban and main account completely intact doesn't seem too harsh, considering it was just a bit of fun :-)
