Yeah, great race Petri.
But I have seen him building a package for a while now.
Staff and driver is excellent.

Great race nonetheless. :)

If you are running low risks why would you want to smoke out the season ? You can earn much needed revenue for the future, plus keep sponsors happy and progress other sponsors faster.
It's not always the way guys should go. Maybe the last couple of races to save you downgrading parts which you get an extra three races from the next season.
You want to be in the best shape you can be when you hit pro surely ?

exactly my point. its reckless to spend on scoring points once promo is secured. as you said, you can certainly zero risk and smoke to the 90% race distance to earn the much needed extra cash. I kinda was assuming his car level parts would be at the appropriate level by now.

If you are running zero risks or very low risks it's not reckless at all. You can earn several million extra per race and parts wear a long time at zero risk ! As I said it's not just about the money either, sponsors need to progress and be kept quiet. Smoking out the season with 4 or 5 races to go can cost nearly 25 million compared to finishing 30th or not even finishing the races and losing half your revenue, you can manage that for one or two races but not at this stage of the season.

Just because that's what you are doing does not necessarily mean it is the "right" thing to do.

It might well be the right thing for you though, so best of luck with it Aaron.

As I see, there's more to earn than to lose in these last races. In few races I'll have the fourth sponsor with me bringing in cash in a long run.

Nevertheless, season end taxes will cut a huge portion of the money saved, so could as well use it during the season for car and personnel.

Welcome to a new season guys..... Hope you enjoy it...welcome to Amateur 1.

Some guys exoected to do well this year... I will make a few predictions a bit nearer the start of the season.

For me, just hoping I will retain with my new driver then look to push on towards pro next season after building my bank balance.

Good luck all of you whether new to the division or not.

I hope the message board is a bit more active than last season.

Great start to your GPRO career..... Very good team too. How did you get in there so early and fresh ? Good luck in your retention quest..... If the league is as inactive as last season you will have no problem retaining.
