Easy:

step 1) Divide tyres in to 2 groups of 6.
for example
group 1: Pipi, Avonn, Yoko, Conti, Dunno, BY
group 2: Conti, Dunno, BY, Hanc, Michi, Bridge

Flip a coin: Heads for "group 1", tails for "group 2"

step 2) roll a dice to pick from the group of 6 you got with the coin flip

Done :)


Method 2:

9 manufacturers, eliminate 3 which you really don't want

Assign number to the ones you have left and roll a dice. Done.

Method 3: (if you have only 2 realistic options)
roll dice: Odd number option 1, even number option 2

Letting the dice decide makes gpro much easier :P
