Guys, this game isn´t all about India. It´s a game from Europe. It´s for everybody, yes, but most players are European.

Here you can see a list of the top 10 countries with most managers and also all Asian countries with 100 or above managers.
As you can see, your suggestion would benefit maybe 1000 managers in this game.
At the same time, it would be awful for about 15000 others.
This means that for the game overall it would be bad if we did this. Even though it may help Asians on GPRO.

Public opinion seems to be in respecting Vlad and other game admins personal and private life and let them decide when they are able to have the races run. You are also forgetting that the "live" version of the race really is a re-run as the real race is first ran before to make sure there are no glitches. That means that the admins need to be home and starting to go through everything several hours before the race actually begins.
But regardless of when and where things and people are needed, we, as the public gamers, do not know what the admins are doing in their private and own time, and making demands on them on what times they have to be working the game is not being respectful.
I am rather sure that Vlad and the admins have ample reasons why the time is as it is, after all why do they have a race as late as 8 CET and having to be around and up until around midnight, maybe longer, unless there are reasons not to have it earlier, which I would imagine would be more convenient for them if they were able to.
Besides, even for europeans the time of 8 pm CET might not always be a good one. Around that time many parents are probably busy putting their children to bed, I know I am, so no matter what time is set there will always be people complaining, or not liking the time set, but we should respect Vlad and the staff and abide by their decisions. They have their reasons, no matter what those reasons are.

If we change the race time to WHATEVER time, there will be always someone that isn't happy with the race time.
Still, if you miss the race or not, it doesn't change your race finishing position :D

I live in Brazil, my country has a lot of players, and the race, during the year, starts from 3pm to 5pm. I cant watch the races live everytime. When i cant, i simply do one thing:
Watch the race replay.
There is a function that takes you auto to there when you first log after a race.

The times are what suits the people who have to be online at racetime. If Vlad lived in India, I am sure the time would suit you better, but he doesn't.

I'm still only 16 (ish)! Most nights my parents are home and want to eat as "family" so it's not possible. In breaks I can risk a sneak peak :P

I suggest having the race at different times of day throughout the season so people can access it at different times. Mainly around Vlad's timezone but like in the morning afternoon and evening which will stop arguments with the Middle Eastern timezone errors.

For me it happens twice in a year. Christmas and New Year's Eve, and the latter is not always sure either :D
But during Christmas we go to my grannys place, so my mothers side of the family (there are like 30-35 of us) are all eating together.

I totally agree on that, we should start using polls again, as they represent the community´s opinion a lot better than the forum.

I just looked, the forums used to be used a lot and quite actively. If Vlad put this decision into a poll, we should put more debates in poll form.

There is really no difference between watching the race live and watching the replay, as the Live Race IS ALREADY A REPLAY!
Why do you want to watch the race live so badly? It doesn´t make any difference, unless you plan to be in the chat. And I have never seen any of the people who are complaining in this thread in the chat during the race.
And even the chat doesn´t really make a difference.

To be honest, I don't give a bang about when the race is. I don't watch it live, I don't watch replay, I watch analysis, and this can be done any time.

I don't mind the time really. I was joking about the dinner thing. Just arguing for the Middle East's sake. I watch the race live when I can (if it's before or after dinner :D In dinner if I feel like a rebel :P) but watching the replay also means I can see race commentary without buy supporter!

Any time that the race is at will be more beneficial for some people when compared to others. That's the problem with time zones, so to make it fair it is set at a time most suited for the admins. They have to be around to fix any problems, so it has to be a time best suited for them. With them living in a CET time zone, it only makes sense for the race time to be best suited for that time zone. Any other time and there could be severe implications if there is a problem and no one is around to fix it.

Can't we have alternate Races at different times use that poll function not used since ages and do 1 race at 20 cet and another at time suiting middle east .People are saying watch replay it don't have that suspence why would you watch Abu Dhabi grand Prix if you know the results in real life
