This is a topic at NEWBIE FORUM, used mainly by newcomers to request their flags to be changed after registration system assigns a flag taking an IP that is not always the one of the country they really are at. Status of newbie forum is similar to Mentor forum, just to picture the idea. That means I could not keep the topic locked for long for cleaning it, as newbies need to find it open when they need it, which can be any time.
Please, take into account what forum you are posting at in the future as had to clean 36 spammy post from here, which is an inconvenience for newbies besides the cleaning job.

What is the point of not being able to pick your nationality when joining? Why use IP address?

You ARE able to chose it, some people use FB login feature for registration or simply do not notice the option, so they register with the wrong nationality anyway.

Hello yo everyone. I want to change my country of nationality to Spain. I lived in Venezuela when I registered at first time, but I´m Spanish, and living again in Spain =)
