Please!!!!!!!!!!!
change this rule.... it's ery unfair to end the race with a puncture.
Do you have already considered a slow lap exp. 2 more minuts regarding the worst time in that lap - and why not some formula to increase the wear of some parts of the car at the end of that race.
Its very disapointing to wait 3 days, counting hours to watch the race and then end like this :(

It is indeed a female dog to have a puncture...but considering what sometimes happen in real races on a puncture, I think only dropping out is actually kinda mild...but I understand your frustration.

We have considered it and I really wanted to introduce it for this season. But as we had no testserver for the last months, we were not able to code such a big change as we could not test it in any way.
But chances are good for a change for next season :)

Good news Stefan, it is a tad harsh the way it is at the moment :)

I think it's stupid to call it a tyre puncture in the first place. From its results I infer it's something more like an accident or shunt into the retaining wall, or getting stuck in the gravel or letting the engine stall after an excursion to the grass but NOT a tyre puncture.
By the way, why don't we have any accidents in our races in the first place?

Assuming of course, that it is actually totally random, and not encouraged by something you are doing to your car :)

good point! and drivers with very low experience and low concentration might even be made to end up without gasoline every once in a while.. ;)

well since the outcome of the "puncture" is the same = end of race DNF then why not call it something else instead then it would not be related to a tyre who might be going a full lap anyhow, christ call it a crash or whatever but not a puncture.
Edit: sorry Petras did not see your post that more or less says the same thing.
