- As soon as the ship leaves the planet, development will cease until the ship returns to your home planet
- When they return all developments done since they left will be added automatically (note for this you must actually go back to your planet and not just be next to it)

What do you mean with 'developments will cease until the ship returns to your home planet' in case you would have built multiple ships? If you would have 2 ships, and the 1st one leaves your planet but the 2nd one not (yet). Will new developments still be applied to the second ship, or will it only happen when all ships are back at your home planet?

So let's say the following happens:
- You have medium shields
- You build a space shuttle and launch it to go into space
- You then develop advanced shields
- You build a 2nd space shuttle
Space shuttle #1 will have medium shields only, while space shuttle #2 will have advanced shields.
Does that make more sense @Bert Meeus (A57)? :)

An example: if I have in military defenses: Medium shields (-3 points) and titanium (-3 points). This adds up to make -6 on defense?
and is it the same for the attack?

WE ARE NOW IN PHASE 2 OF THE GAME!!!
The first warp capable space shuttle has been built - and so the following options are now on the table each turn (presuming you are in contact with another race - if not, it's just invest as normal!):
