However, Jun and Dominik's team records during the season seem to suggest it isn't 100% random. However, if I want to do longer games, I have to record each half separately, and upload them separately, then cut them down and splice them together, before uploading to YouTube. So it's not a great process for me.
Actually, in a fully random league, it is expected that some teams will do considerably better than others. Plus, we only had a sample size of 7 games.
It's not uncommon to get 7 heads or tails in a row when you flip a coin 100 times, for example.
- Jun - Ivan - Marius (?) - Richard - Kai Wen - Ricardo - Calum -
Would like at least 8, and if more, maybe a more unique league structure with a couple divisions or something. (So that not everyone has to play everyone, which would take more weeks).
Regardless, I think we’ll do a modified fantasy draft style this time.
It will be 5v5 (4+GK)… and you’ll again have two subs. So 7 players this time.
Like this: RD1: Team Captain (No rating restriction) RD2: Vice Captain (No rating restriction) RD3: Two Players with min OA 75 and max total OA of 160. RD4: Two Players with min OA 75 and max total OA of 160. RD5: Young Player with max age 19 and max OA 79. RD6: Team (for badge and kits)
Whoever picks first in RD1 picks last in RD2 (RD2 reverse of RD1). The order is shuffled for RD3, and again, whoever picks first, picks last in RD4. The order is shuffled one last time, and whoever picks their young player first picks their team last.
I could... or, we could start deciding/picking teams and see if anyone joins before we finish that process.
I can always throw together a team at the end if needed.
edit- I also discovered there is an option to make all players 95 rated. Then the only differences are work rates, body types, running styles, etc. (And the distribution of attributes is different by position, but equal for all players in that position.) It's interesting, but probably wouldn't be good for this game :P
