Germany imho, their young squad did well at the WC and they are more mature now. Already have my crafty £1 bet on them to win it. Spain's stars are getting older and so are Netherlands'.

It really depends on whom they play in the QF, passing the group stage shouldn't be too much of a hassle if they can win the first game - their motivation and confidence would be huge - pair that with their home turf and supporters and who knows what might happen. especially if Lewandowski can get a goal-scoring streak.

i never said it was obvious, i said that anything can happen in the right set of circumstances. just look at greece in 2004.
