Bert trying his best not to double post :D

Least Brazil's defense seems still stable after the 0-2 :)

Does Neymar expect to get a penalty diving like that with VAR? How stupid does he think the referee is? And how does he not get a yellow?

Exactly! The ref saw the clear dive, so why just play on instead of booking the player?!
And you're spot on about how stupid the player is. Just that accustomed to trying to cheat, he's still at it even with VAR, when any obvious dive simply can't win a penalty!

One of the things that annoys me most in football that happens every game from almost every team is when a player rolls around for a free kick and when it isn't given or their team wins back possession they get straight back up with 100% fitness. I wish diving and things like this were punished more..

They have the power to, just rarely seem to use it.... guess they don't feel they can judge fairly how much someone is hurt. Some are glaringly obvious though
EDIT: That was worth the substitution!

The funny thing is, if someone was genuinely hurt, the last thing they would be doing is rolling about more than they need to lol

Vincent Kompany I swear wants Brasil to win, nearly giving away a penalty but thank god for VAR and now giving the ball away and leaving a huge gap for Brasil to take shots from.
Take him off, great player but starting to look slow.

Like the one Englishman that flopped without even being touched last match? And still got the foul call?
*is still salty* :D

WOOOHOOOO - Brasil are going home!
Well done to Belgium! 220 million Euro's my ass! Glad to see the ref sticking to their guns and making sure the cheat doesn't get away with anything :)

It was the most interesting game of this championship by my opinion

There's a factoid and a half. First time ever that a World Cup semi final hasn't featured at least one of Brazil, Argentina or Germany / West Germany. :o

Respect Belgium!! Finally Neymar goes home where he can roll on his couch as long as he want. He was rolling around on the pitch (and outside) for 14 minutes in this WC, without calculating this game with Belgium. Well, Superstars like that, football doesn´t need. Is there nobody near him, father, mother, sister, manager to tell him that he is ridiculous?!

Brazil deserved better luck.... Belgium had an own goal for them and a 'bullseye' shot (very nice) by De Bruyne. Other than that, it was attack vs defense all round... and Brazil has missed many opportunities to score.
its funny to see how people are happy to see Brazil out. You should be happy to see Belgium through instead. Hate, hate...

OHHhhhhh YESSS!!!
What a game, what a game. The Golden Generation finally played themselves into the history books of Belgian football.
De Bruyne in his natural position playing a fantastic game, Chadli flourishing like never before, Lukaku in an unnatural position doing his job as well as anyone can expect. We don't have the best defenders in the world but Jan Vertonghen played with so much grit, Wiillian had to be taken out of his misery at halftime.
Brazil played a very good game and Belgium had some luck on their side, but boy this is a game to remember. I said on our team chat before the game: if Belgium wins, I will tell my grandchildren about it. So now I'm off to make some babies. :D

Well, doesn´t hate Brazil, only players like Neymar and Marcelo. I loved for example Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, Ronaldo, ecc. And i am happy about Belgium, it´s time for this generation to do something. Belgium played like a team and teams are winning in this WC, they did well. Football isn´t only abour attacking and ball possession. And if Belgium plays some of the counter attacks more precise, then the result could be even higher.

I'm sad for Brazil but happy for Belgium (I went to a Belgium match with my mate Jimmy at the world cup in Brazil - I still have the Belgium scarf and all the great pics and memories from that day) I hope Belgium makes the final and wins a WC :)

Quote ( Rafael Mantovani @ July 6th 2018,22:50:26 ) its funny to see how people are happy to see Brazil out. For the record Rafa, I never like to see Brazil go out, I love watching their football. But Neymar...The guy is an absolute embarrassment. The guy is a total fairy. Imagine how long it must have taken the guy who did hes tattoos!! Am I sad to see Brazil out? Yes I am, 100%. Am I sad to see Naymar leave? Not at all, the guy is a joke and a cheat!

It is a shame that Brazil's campaign will be remembered for all of Neymar's antics when Coutinho was head & shoulders there best most influential player.
