Hi guys ! A couple of ideas in order to improve the game in a realistic way :
Black Flag :
Ask your driver to race with the reverse gear or going wrong way when he reaches x laps. He’s disqualified immediately. You are not wearing the car but you get a fee. Your driver gains charisma. Your driver may be killed in the process.
Pros : You can save car parts. Adds a realistic option to the game.
Cons : Your driver may be killed in the process. (Small chances)
Cleverness :
Adds a cleverness characteristic for the technical directors and a column named car character points gained illegally. During practice you can choose to do laps with the priority : Look for weaknesses in the rules. The cleverness is the ability to find new ideas being borderline with the technical rules. You can choose when to use these points before each race but the more you’ve gained, the more risks to be disqualified after the race occur. If a DQ occurs, the driver loses motivation but gain technical skill.
Pros : You can win with an illegal car, which happens sometimes in motorsports even in Formula 1 (search Flavio Briatore and McLaren in Wikipedia) so this is a realistic addition to the game.
Cons :
Press & Public Relations :
Your team has a new characteristic named popularity or marketability. It can boost negotiations with sponsors with high reputation or image.
You can choose how the driver acts during press conferences or interviews in order to modify the team popularity.
How much risks the driver should take during public relations ?
Tell them what they want to hear, be a robot : No changes.
Make jokes : May increase or decrease a little the popularity, depending of the driver charisma.
Do a strip tease : May increase or decrease a lot the popularity, depending of the driver charisma, talent and weight. (Small bonus for female drivers). You may get a fee.
Punch the journalist in the face or show finger to him : May increase or decrease substantially the popularity depending of the driver aggressiveness, charisma and technical skills. You may get a fee.
Pros : Why motorsports should be boring when the race ended ? Adds a realistic addition to the game.
Cons : One more parameter to manage on GPRO :/.
Going Rogue :
When the motivation of the driver drops to 0 and/or your balance is negative, there are chances for him to go rogue which means that you can’t control the risks taken by your driver in every situations.
Pros : Managers going red with their finance may actually promote with unplanned results and money gains. You should maintain a minimum motivation for your driver which means a more difficult way to manage his OA. Usually you can resign him when the motivation is 0 or near 0, which is a nonsense, but if his motivation reaches 0 and goes rogue, he will perform bad (or good, who knows) and wear the car more or less etc, so you may want to change your driver to keep control of your team.
Cons : Each driver will act randomly when entering in go rogue mode, so the game will be just a bit unpredictable.

Some good points with press conference, except strip tease, and punch the journalist (what pilot would act like this). Illegal CCP might be a good point too. Motivation changes and rogue mode would unbalance the game, so i disagree with that !

The press thing is an okay idea although it's drowned by the rest of the nonsense post and the nonsense names you've given each possible reaction.
And it would require a lot of change.
Yeah, drugs is bad. I don't want my driver to die.

Going rogue is quite an interesting one, even if I don't think that it would actually be a good addition. And a Press office as an upgraded part of the game, to replace the current sponsor setup, might be ok - not sure about your specific ideas on it, though.
Can only applaud the attempt at the suggestions, on the whole. Disruptive thinking is important for moving things forward, even if these ideas aren't particularly workable.

I approve of the public relations. Mainly the flipping off/punching. Sounds like Kyle Busch after the Las Vegas race.
