Bah Austin was there in the top10-15 but screwed up that last restart and didn't make more than 4p gap to McDowell. Let's see how much magic the paperclip can do then.

I'm used to saying goddamn Newman, but this time I was nearly going to say goddamn Kyle Busch. Newman running 8th and you ram him ffs ;D Good that it was 10th in the end anyway.
However a very important 18th place from LaJoie, that was the little engine that could :p Now I need nearly -20 points from all remaining three races so that will be tough. Although I wonder who Vin can trust for the remaining 3 weekends too!

Oil pressure is getting high! Right side tires are low on tread. Just trying to bring her home – this has the makings of a spectacular crash.
I have a lot of potential DNFs from which to choose the next 3 races. Yikes

Looks like NASCAR still hasn't learned to start the race at a different hour and not let it run at the same time as F1 at Austin. Quite bleh.

Yeah, Tony Stewart just ran some exhibition laps at COTA on Thursday and we should hear about a NASCAR race at the track in the near future.

Quote ( Ryan McCorkle @ November 2nd 2019,18:21:22 ) Yeah, Tony Stewart just ran some exhibition laps at COTA on Thursday and we should hear about a NASCAR race at the track in the near future. And if all goes planned, they'll continue the tradition and schedule it to wave the green flag at Austin Nascar race halfway through the Miami F1 race. Two serieses who are amusingly incapable of working together.
But yes COTA in Nascar would be sweet too! Whether or not they smoothen the bumps :p
Blaney seems to have been doing fine so far but JH doesn't look shabby either. Quite neat for a first ever cup race?
