Its not that strong in terms of ability...i compared out times to some other leagues, and our fastest guys are a good 2 seconds slower than the top guys in quite a few other leagues.
But hey, that just makes it more interesting, right ;)

Me thinks Marko Pontynen (excuse spelling) might have his risks set way too high.
This is the second race now that he has crashed out at the start.

i m not leading for long :)

oh.. this track is eating my tires too early... :/
Me and you (aki) seem to be matched for lap times right now.
What tires are you running on?
medium.. if i remember right..
I am running medium too and they seem to be holding up great for me...although if you are running one stop then you could be in trouble.
Really slowing me down though :/

:) lets see where my tactic is going.. top 10 would be great but top 15 is good too..
Lol, i am praying i make top 20 with the way this race is going.
My new driver is hardly making me comfortable in my decision to hire him.
im never gonna make it 1 stop.. at least 2 stops
well 10 place :) i am very happy about that. even i had to pit in at lap 68 and still 10 place :)
I finished up 20th...ouch.
Top 8 seemed like the usual bunch pretty much :P
in next gp i hope to be in top 8 :D

Well, i just spent £13 mil on updating my car...everything wore out at the same time :(
I dont see how its possible to keep updating your car when its worn with only 6 mil per race :/
i only updated parts worn over 90 %
Thats not very smart though...something could be at 85% and likely to take another 30% in the next race.
Thats like committing racing suicide :P
I have been making calculations on how long my parts last each race, and anything over 75%, ideally, needs to be replaced, unless its something really insignificant.
well i dont want to go lots to negative..
Yeah, but you wont be finishing too many races in a great position either.
If you dont complete 90%, you will even lose half your race income, which will hurt just as much.
yes i guess so.. well i'll think about that when i'm updating my car next time :)
Spent 10 mil. Think I need to turn my risk settings down. That or start to win some races.
Dissapointed with that. From 6th to 21st in one pit stop; and I had the second fastest pit stop time :(
Pit stop times dont make a great deal of difference unless you are in contention...Its more about strategy, in my opinion.
Plus, didnt you have a tech prob anyways?

Hi folks,
I had way too high risks my last race as Chris noticed earlier, but it was my first crash, not second. ;) In first race i needed to one more pitstop just few laps before finish.. =/
I'm still looking for driver, didnt know that driver is gone right after race and to get new one takes few days. So now I'm hoping to get someone today or my races are getting way too difficult in future. =/
Lots of stuff to learn for me about this game, seems like i will suffer some wearing problems on next race.
But, here we go, race by race, learning by doing... ;)

Actually that's only in Elite, Master and Amateur.
Seems like next race will be a really difficult one for me. Somehow my setup is not working at all and I have a long way to go if I want to be in top 8. Car wear is causing some problems aswell. However, I still try my best to save money. Soon my only sponsor stops giving money and the situation will be worse as is seems that my new sponsor will give much less money. :/

As far as I have understood every driver has a contract that last 3 races at the beginning. After that you have to either hire a new one or stop racing. :P

I noticed in good time that previous race was last for my driver, but didnt realise that he will be walking out of pit lane without saying "hello", and a signing a new one takes so long. =P
But now i have a italian driver in finnish team so championship should be obvious... ;))

Ah yes, my mistake, got you and Mark Korshuize mixed up, as he crashed out at the start of the race before :)

OoO, thats definitely good to know...was panicking in the last race as thought my tech prob would force me to retire 2 laps early, but i will just relax in the future :P
I feel where you are coming from with the setup issues...i dont get how newbies with lowest level car manage to qualify so easily ahead of some of us with better cars :/

You can extend the contract with your default driver, if he satisfies you. For example, my def. driver was not so bad, so I prolong his contract till the end of the season. In other case it is better to start searching for a new one at the first week.
Extending contracts on drivers is a bad idea in my opinion, unless they are ridiculously good.
To extend my default drivers contract, it would have cost me over £3 mil in signing fee alone, let alone the fact i would be paying him over £2 mil a race.
Instead, i got a guy of equal ability for only £1.5 signing fee and i only pay him £1 mil a race.
So if you wanna save alot of money, dont extend contracts unless you are in one of the better leagues where consistency counts more than cash.

Good luck everybody in todays race.

Did Aki and Mikko collide at the start?
They both seem to have lost a few places :/
