I think consistency is crucial and with 3 races left, the most consistent will promote. Many kilometres left for those lurking outside the top 4 =) Good luck.

Luckiest 4th place ever. Two poor guys pitted on the 2nd to last lap.
I'm just hoping for a helpful points bonus going into next season. Dont even know how good my driver is yet!

Well, I'll try to reach Pro again, but considering I don't have a team and I don't dedicate much time to GPRO, except for the half hour necessary to qualify, I can't aim to achieve much more than a Pro season. So when I get there, I will probably fight to stay, but I won't get stuck like I did before... as soon as I see I can't advance, I will come back to rookie and start over. It actually is a great challenge, considering I always try to finish with good money =)

Well, it's all about the driver.
I know, from personal experience, that in order to suceed, qualifying is crucial. Maybe not in rookie, but in higher leagues. If you can't qualify well, you need to use risks and spend more money, etc. So, get a good qualifying driver. Then, it's all about consistency =)
I was only the fastest driver (consistently, not fastest lap) in 3 or 4 races this season, but I compensated it with good strategic choices and consistency. In the statistics of GPRO I already was top 25 in most consecutive points finishes, with about 24 or 25.
Plus, money is important, and as I can see, the other 3 who promote with me don't have a lot of money, so it will be hard to suceed in amateur. And promoting from rookie with a stuffed wallet isn't hard at all. Don't focus on car level in rookie, really, that's the best advice I can give moneywise :)

Yeah now is harder than ever to promote in Amateur, as you said everyone knows what to do but i'm sure if we keep our money both of us next season will go in Amateur.
