Hi GPRO and everyone,
since F1 and GPRO is an international sports and race at different track in different country, I suggest that every race is started at different time zone depends on the location of the track.
This will just simulate a different feeling for everybody when race in the US or race in the middle east or in asia track.
It can still be tuesday and friday but not at a fixed time. All other rules stay like the 1.5 hours race setup etc.
I dont think its that difficult, so everybody will feel how to race GPRO at 2am, or 9am or 10pm!!!
Just my idea.

I just assume its hard enough for the admins to run as it is, with regular work hours and so on. I would guess that it would be allmost impossible with anything other than European evenings.

This is true but the biggest problem with this idea is people keeping track of deadlines. The times must be fixed so that managers don't have to be thinking "what is the deadline for qualifying tonight?"
That is why this nice idea that would be potentially very welcoming for mangers in certain time zones is completely flawed.

This does look like it could be a good idea. I would say do it for a few races maybe next season and have feedback from racers and the mojority votes goes just for a test

I always hated having the races in the evening when i lived in Europe. I'm such an addict I'd be checking the race on my phone when I was out. Much prefer having them at lunchtime now. Catch some rays on my balcony with the race on my ipad and a nice big deli sandwich. Can't beat that. So I say no to changing it.

Yup. I like the current timings too. I'm up till late at work most of the evenings so I would hate an evening race. Especially on Fridays. I rather like to 11:30/12:30 start we have here in India. If the race is interesting, I watch a most of it.... if it is boring (most of the time, it is boring) I just fall asleep while watching it and see the result in the morning ;)

But seriously.. What a mess would be not knowing exactly at what time is the race cause it changes every day... Besides, I guess is a lot more work for the people behind the game!

No, no, I LOVE the start time. I'm a teacher and the race is half-over after my last class ends, so I get something to watch and enjoy on my mobile while I'm grading papers or doing prep work.
As Gordon said, it has to be European evening hours so if something goes wrong an available admin can fix it.

Good luck telling the admins they have to stay up v late in the night to kick off updates then.
I'd wager it'll never happen, nor should it.
