And why is it not explained in any way or given a notification of what it does.

Since you're answering questions tell me this..

You can field 5 neurons in a game.

You have 2*5 vertical slots (10 slots total) for neurons.

And neurons are just slapped there in some random order (which is subject to change randomly)

Why can you not put your neurons in order of your preference ??

and they would stay in that order you have selected.

I guess the closer to the Optimal operational range, the better your Neuron does. Nanotube is cheaper than Silicium, consumes less and it's better if you use low MIPS chips (Striker)
