Had no time yesterday evening. Shame, but after last race all my hopes were doomed anyway :D

From a global perspective I think a 22:00 start time for finish is unfair on the likes of Kai anyway Bert. What I might do is let the finishing commence from the moment someone posts to ‘start’ the process. No double posts though. So, could be handy to get a team mate playing then ;)

unlucky Tim.

I will post results on Sunday afternoon hopefully :)

Kai spends most of his time in the UK nowadays. And one of us starting makes it worse in my opinion, unless the "co-operation" you mentioned can be organized.

How about addind one more timestamp for finish so it fits someone on a different time zone or someone that can't be online at 22.00?

For example, you also announce that the second timestamp is at 08.00.
Anyone posting finish at 08:00.00 will win who ever posted at 22:00.01.
And each player can post only once. Anyone posting after 22, can't try again after 08.00 to improve his score...

No, I think I will just have all races start (roughly) 48 hours AFTER each GPRO race.

That will be 22:00 CET on Sunday and Thursday.

Time for season summary.

Race 16 and 17

https://i.imgur.com/vSHgET4.png

it's a big congratulations to @Bert Meeus (P11) who becomes the first GPRO Eliminator champion after scooping strong back to back races at the tail of the season, while others fell away around him. A really great job and Bert was the most consistent overall throughout the season. Even if @Peter Willmore (M3) was more dominant during the middle part of the season, his own campaign was blighted towards the end somewhat by the need for moti dropping. The same applied to @Ricardo Antunes (P2) and @Tim Wagner (M3).

@Jonathan Beagles (M3) will probably surprised to see he picked up the silver medal, which just goes to show how a strong end of season can propel someone in this game, very nicely done there as he is joined in the top 3 rostrum by @Tim Wagner (M3) who had a very strong start to the final round, but ending poorly in the last two races, but just clinging on for the bronze. @George Togas (M4) was tied with Tim for that spot, but Tim edged him out on the tie break which means takes no medal here, but did so elsewhere. Peter finished 5th in the end here, but still very close to the top 3 with his 36.5, it really was close from 2nd to 5th really, while Mike, Claudio and Ricardo all did very well to get to the final, an achievement in itself, and on another season maybe @Ricardo Antunes (P2) could have won!

Championship

@Bert Meeus (P11) claims a double gold victory then as he also scoops up the Championship trophy. Fantastic season for him then, while @Peter Willmore (M3) does at least get a silver medal here despite falling away in the Eliminator - a great season from him in his Pro group, he really was super dominant. @George Togas (M4) takes the bronze here right at the death, stealing it from under the nose of @Ricardo Antunes (P2) in the end, but again that end of season form just shows how things can swing away from you (or for you!). Jon, Tim and @Mike Bell (P4) were all very close together in 4th, 5th and 6th places.

Finish Standings

Well it's no surprise that @George Togas (M4) claims gold here as he was on the podium all season, a massive 20 point cushion almost to @Tim Wagner (M3) in 2nd, while Peter claimed the bronze, just half a point infront of @Jonathan Beagles (M3) .
