FootGolf Championships, Round 2 Results
And the Cinderella story continues! Kyle Morris upsets George Togas and advances to the FootGolf Cup Final. As much as George has an off day, shooting even par, Kyle was completely in form, shooting a -7, the best round of the 4 Cup Semifinalists. He will be facing Alan Halford, who had to rely on his placement from the season in order to advance, as both him and Bálint Turi-Kováts shot -6 -- very good rounds in their own right! Kyle will look for his 2nd Cup victory, while Alan will look for his first, after taking the Plate last season
But the round of the week goes to Quentin Rieg, who shot -9 and defeated Greg Tierney by an impressive 10 strokes, including a -10 combined score from his orange and red teams (who all won + a goal bonus). Quentin will be acing Chew Kai Wen in the FootGolf Plate final.

FootGolf Championships, Round 3 Results
We begin with the 7th Place Match -- and what a match it was! Mike Baston and Greg Tierney, their Cup dreams long since dashed, put on a show for the crowd, clearly under no stress whatsoever. Their (spoiler alert) rounds of the week, both at -9, feature impressive scoring from the red and orange groups! But Mike Baston takes it in the playoff, and so secures 7th place!

And so our first piece of hardware, the FootGolf Plate has arrived! And it's new holder will be Chew Kai Wen! He adds the Plate to his Bowl from last season, and just needs some silverware for a full meal now! He just ekes out the victory over Quentin Rieg, with both players shooting impressive rounds of -6 and -5.

In the 3rd place match, George Togas reminds us why he was such a dominant force during the regular season -- as he takes out his anger from a semifinal loss on poor Balint, defeating him by 11 strokes. It's not the result that either had hoped for, but there are certainly far worse fates....

And finally, it's the one we've all been waiting for -- the FootGolf Cup Final! Kyle Morris and Alan Halford battle it out, trading good scores on the early holes, but a slip up from Alan on the penultimate hole opens the door for Kyle, who grabs 4 strokes back in a single bound -- leading him to a 1 stroke win for the FootGolf Cup! And so, Kyle becomes only the 2nd player to have multiple Cups to his name, with his first coming back in Season 8! Congratulations Kyle!

The conclusion of the FootGolf Championships means that we have reached the end of FootGolf, Season 11.
A few season-end notes:
1.) THANK YOU! I appreciate everyone's participation. Hopefully you enjoyed the game.... if you did, spread the word!
2.) It seems that interest has declined in the game recently, for whatever reason. Therefore, I'm not sure when FootGolf might come back for Season 12 -- perhaps a summer break will convince me to bring it back in the fall, but it might be longer than that.
2b.) If you have ideas about how to increase/revive interest -- let me know!
3.) As always, if you have any ideas/feedback/etc. about the game going forward, or improvements you'd like to see, let me know! I only organize the game, and whatever is feasible to make things more fun for all, I am certainly open to considering!
