Vlad has slightly reduced the size of amateur groups in an effort to make rookie more competitive.

I dont think ama54 will be more competitive. Unless some relegation zone will be applied to there. Same valid for my group too. Zone should be bigger for competition imo.
E: i now read the rookie word of yours. But still, this doesnt seem right to me, for amateurs, i dont know.

The number of additional promotions from Rookie was reduced, which will lead to smaller Amateur groups but hopefully more competition at Rookie and less promotions by total newbies, doing them no favours in the long term.
While it isn't ideal to have Amateur groups with no relegation zone, and I doubt that was the plan, I like it for keeping Rookie as "Rookie" as possible and Amateur being the lowest level for most experienced managers.
Hopefully it will balance out over the next few seasons though, and Amateur groups won't be as small as 30. I've not looked, but I would hope that's unusual and not the norm.
EDIT - After a quick scan of a few Ama groups, I see most with 8 - 10 relegation spots, so a group with none does indeed seem to be an unusual occurrence and will likely naturally balance out over the next few seasons.

I really like the news this season, the update umder development is epic, ID really like to see them next season if possible!!

It's still quite unlikely to get it running for next season already, unless we really find some graphic designers...

Some amateur groups have still have 40 but some have 30. Doesnt seem to be distributed evenly. Is there a reason for the random distribution?

The vagaries of random group allocation. :)
Still think that the wrong approach is being taken in relation to balancing the levels. It is incrementally going in the right direction though. Hopefully my suggestion is implemented in it's entirety by S100. :)
