Have you seen last MOTO GP race at Mugello GP of Italy?
If not you have missed one of the greatest race I have ever seen on a circuit.
It was worth some of Gilles Villeneuves/Arnoux or Senna/Prots race in F1.
Five Moto GP 500 CC equivalent to Formula 1 cars, with the top best pilot all in queue for more than 15 laps on a very difficult circuit to over take one another.
Top speed 332 KM/h all of them for some lap in the same very second!
And The Doctor like a shark studying is pray to melt on it and swallow it in one go.
What a race!!!!
Unless F1 comes back to that level I'm not going to miss MOTO GP for a boring F1 race.
Valentino please do not move to F1 you will be bored to deth in F1 comapre to the genius you are in MOTO GP.

Where was the cat in the beginning of the season ? ;) The new generation like Stoner, Pedrosa and others are ready to kick the Doctore :) (IMO They do already)

BTW, Rossi is quiet some name in Italian sport, remember Spain '82.
And the one who kicks ass in F1 since so long time is 'La Rossa' ;))))
We have plenty of Rossi still to come.

Rossi will never be what Doohan was for me:) I stopped watching 500 cc when Doohan retired:) Well, not really but sorta:) It was not fair for Doohan to become Rossi's mentor:) Thank God Rossi went to Yamaha so that he does not dominate that badly:)

For the moment there is already somebody who beats all records that Rossi had (125 and 250 more champs win and youngest to win), and it's Pedrosa. Next year that will be the Pedrosa year in Moto GP. When Rossi knew that Pedrosa came to Moto GP he tried at all cost to go to the F1 but no way ... :) Poor Rossi ... He will need a Doctor (in pscychanalisis) when he will lost this year the champ and others one in the future ... :P

Yes, Doohan was incredible, I agree. Poor Criville continue to do nightmare with him :) I don't with you know him but Angel Nieto has been one of the best of all times in moto also.

Ok maybe im a bit off topic of this dicussion, but for now Rossi IS the man to beat on the track,Pedrosa is certainly the one that will challenge Valentino's record.For me the best of all time is fast Freddy Spencer.
I hope your not too young to have the chance to seen him in action.:-)

The doctor announced that he wanted GP Mugello, GP of Catalonia and Gp of Assen. He has made 2 out of 3.
At this pace he might get something more!

Roadracing used to be 500CC two strokes Salvatore
But with the name Moto GP all that changed them are fullfledged 1000CC fourstrokes next year they will be 800CC Four strokes machines. the other classes 125 and 250 are still two strokes machines for the simple reason that it is easier to get more BHP from a twostroke. The 500CC had 200BHP and were deemed more or less too difficult to handle with getting more bhp in the future
so the switch was made.
