I dont care either way. The way I see it, this is about gaining experience. I dont care if its in rookie or in elite (well maybe not elite) but it may help me learn sonme things more about how to manage finances and maybe I can even get some points every now and then.

Could you give a tard a clue?

You can hire drivers that are above rookie overall limit of 85 and if that overall can drop bellow 85 just before the reset...

No problem, rookie can't teach you everything anyway.

Remember to take your time to read the:

/GPRORules.asp
/GPROFAQ.asp
/GPRONoobGuide.asp

Most things that you would normally learn "the hard way" when you first come to the game and make you lose seasons of possible good planning and results are already explained "the easy way" in those links.

Note: "Newbie Guide" should have it's name changed to "Starter Guide" as noob is very offensive to sensible people :P

I going to brutally honest here. Im a rookie that got promoted on nothing at all. Am I scared?? NO WAY!!!! :-) Its simply amazes me that even in amateur there are so many brain dead idiots that run their franchises into debt oblivion. My guess is all you you will need to do is maintain a positive cash balance. and you will stay alive in amateur. Obviously, promotion to the next level isnt here, but you can use this season as a giant stepping stone.

If you ever wanted proof that auto racing has a following of grease monkeys and women with 2 digit IQs this i game s it. That is not to say that this game attracts a lot of intelligent people. It obviously does. The fact is most of these thinking people I hope to play in the future are at higher levels. Until that time Ill play against Jethro the gas monkey!! :-)

Good attitude to take into Amateur. Good luck to you in this season.

P.S. Beware the grease monkeys throwing banana skins in front of your car.

yep I try to keep my finances positive but i just like to spend!!

I've got about 5 or more accounts for different other games (only one for this one!)

One of them "Other games" is all about managing finances within a transport company!

As for Experience? well I’ve got hardly any Came 6th first race (forth from last season) missed next 16th the next then last race of season didn't even finish (engine, gear and suspension problem!)

If you want to stay in the rookie ranks, there are ways of staying there. Just use all of your money. Then you are guaranteed of another season in rookie.

David Cox -> I like your attitude. You dont roll on your back and cry. Good luck, David

Thank You Carstsen and Timothy. Im 50 and an forever thankful that I grew up in an era that I didnt need to be politiclly correct. Quite frankly, anyone with half a brain and the got promoted to amateur should be happy like me.. That said if you angry, your a frigging idiot and Im happy to be playing you. It just makes my jump to the next level so much easier. :-)
