This may be a silly question, or just downright impossible, but I was wondering if it would be at all possible for a GPRO API to be released, so that when I'm making my website I can incorporate sections of GPRO (I.E. Team Forums, Race Analysis etc) into my own team website.
I'm just toying with this idea at the moment, but it'd be a very cool feature not only of my team website and other websites based on the idea, but for GPRO itself. It could very easily open the door to even a Facebook application of GPRO, which could be able to reach a broader audience using Facebook.

yep
EDIT:
<iframe src="http://www.gpro.se/race.asp" width="xxx" height="yyy" name="embedded_gpro_race"></iframe>
That is how you do it, add behind the race.asp just (for example) ?Group=Amateur+-+56 ,will get you to Ama 56 group

Which means anything you need to login for cant be incorparated in another website, which means pretty much everything of use...

What I would love to see, is some sort of an API for team and manager stuff.
Team Events Team Overview (with the % contributed) for the team part, atleast.
Then for the manager part, I'd love to see a way to pull the following out using managers own API Key (authentication key, that he could change to another random one at any point):
Manager name, group (+position in group) and money Driver details (Name + skills + contract details) Car Parts Q1 & Q2 & Race Car Setup + time
Or, alternatively, just an RSS feed (likely with an authentication) for the team events + overview.
As I see it, this would get more people making prettier websites for their teams, as well as cut down on the time it takes to manage the websites. It shouldn't be too hard to implement one or another, though I don't really agree with the original poster about how wide the API should be. You'd only want to have certain read-only statistics in the API, not fully functional team forum, etc.
Thank you, and sorry for bringing back an old thread ^^
