The cup system is run independently of the season standings...

The draw is final after race 2, so make sure you're in the top 32 by then.

(Actually I did see that this only begins AFTER the second race)
But its nice to see how some of you feel, just out of interest how are the standings derived.. points only.. points and cash or what?

The initial table is ranked by race wins, or should be, isn't this season for some reason. But that's what the cup system is going off anyway.

Not to sound like I already know what will happen, but I sincerely doubt they will. Perhaps they may push one extra race to go a stage further, but not much more than that.
The winner of the cup will more than likely be someone promoting, so it won't change in that regard at all.

What is more important, 'financial security' in the game, or winning a cup that will earn you not that much in comparison.
I will happily take an early exit from the cup, or lose in a semi final, so long as my season plan comes to fruition, and I not only have a good financial platform but also a good start to push next season.

I see the cup as a bonus thing, but I won't do anything crazy just to beat my rivals in the cup. The season standings is much more important than the cup.

Thomas: You feel cup is sideshow because the bonus is negligible. But if they offered 10 million per round you may think of it as considerably more important than you do now.

Yeah, but that's not going to happen. It's not likely that someone that's outside the top guys make it into the final rounds, so it would just widen the gaps between top and bottom.

Amazing improve for the game, thanks admins and of course, Vladimir Islentiev who has the original idea....
Like i said in other topic, this idea could avoid to some managers smokes the last races to get some money if they are fighting for this cup....
Also, there will be achivements for this cup system? It would be great if admins add some.

How can it be called a Cup, when only Elites get trophies? Standings Knockout would appear apt, perhaps :)
