There will probably be a few more rain races before the season ends. You just have to stay patient. Last year was a bit hectic, and the races were very unpredictable. So it is a nice break from what we experienced last season.

C'mon Torben, we didn't even have a hot race yet ;)

There's still many races left in the season, so some will definitely be wet.

I actually would love to see the words weather/rain be banned from the forums, honestly nothing more pathetic than people crying about weather in an online racing sim.

I opened the topic expecting some nice conspiracy theories about what admins do with the rain on track and how they can get the track completely dry from one lap to the other. Disappointed really.

It still might have some rainy laps in the middle of the race. But yes we've been in the dry part of the calendar, mostly warm. The wet stretch of the season will come later, funnier of course.

If you are relying on one race and its weather to try to retain Pro maybe you should be rethinking your management approach to the game.
Sorry if that sounds a little harsh but seriously you need to look at the overall season

Let me guess: Your retaining hinges on rain ? :)

Sometimes it rains, other times not.

You do realize that in the world where racing happens, there can go full seasons when not a single drop of water hits the ground during a race.

Just an example: There are 21 F1 races during a season (that's ~21 days), but the year consist of 365 days. It's not so unfathomable that there would be no rain on those 21 days of the year.

ofc. GPRO is not F1, but that's just for the comparison since the concept of "realistic" was brought up :)

So it's about what you need, and not about sc. "realism" :)

Well... maybe you'll get lucky. (or not)

The thread is still young, patience my dear. Just look at who HASN'T posted here yet.

Conspiracies will come.

But since you mentioned it. How do you get the track dry so fast? But better question, how do you make it wet for lap down cars and dry for lead lap cars? It's magic I think.

Well all the rain gets saturated into the ground and when it its dry it evaporates into the atmosphere and that is how the rain clouds are formed as its colder up in the sky so turns back into water droplets, and also when it evaporates from lakes and rivers, then you get rain all over again and the cycle repeats

Oh, wrong sort of topic, i see...

I would rather know where the cars go??? Probably the same place as the rain.

Ice caps, glaciers melting, all adding to rain fall. I think I hear Noah calling, gotta go. I don't want to miss the boat.

They make it into beer.

That's why you see fewer "sick in helmet" random when there is less rain. Less rain means less beer, which means less hung over and potentially sick drivers.

Of course those drivers that get sick during a dry season, well you don't want to know what they make their beer from.
