Quick Question, the more sponsers your negotiatiating with at a time, does it take longer to get to 100%? or is it the same no matter what..

I know each sponser takes difrent times. but yeah, just wondering if its slower if your negotiatiating with mulitple sponsers at a time...

Mod edit: fixed spelling error in title for search

More sponsors negotiating, slower negotiations.

Stilll on sponsorship. How can the estimated average progress be 48%? It's the average of all those applying I believe so this doesn't appear to make sense.

Another question: How can negotations with so many sponsors in my series already be around 20-40 % just one day after the season reset? I was expecting to see 0% everywhere till just after the first race...

I'm confused!

I'm confused!

If you've started negotiation with a sponsor you keep negotiating with them when you promote, even though you're not in that group any more. So those sponsors in rookie groups with some progress are being negotiated with by promoted managers no longer in your group.

Oh, I see. So actually for these sponsors you are in competition then with a team (or teams) that promoted to amateur? No point in putting effort in those, so we'll start negotiating with a nice one still on 0 %. Good idea?

Thanks a lot.

Not necessarily....

Someone who promoted to Ama may not get as good results as you might in Rookie, so your progress could be quicker than theirs and you could steal the sponsor from them. Even if they are 40% ahead, it doesnt mean that they will get the sponsor before you, it just gives them a head start.

It is however a judgement call for you and will depend on your results & their results, and other factors.

is there any way of extending the basic contract you start with?

i've only got the contract for 10 races but would like to increase it to the end of the season.

I spose the question is why are we made to negotiate for something we will never get..... i have been negotiating with 2 since the start of the season...... yet i havnt reached 80% yet...... (this has always and is still currently set to very high). Wether it be the same for all rookies or not, why negotiate the whole season wasting time if nothings going to happen, seems pointless from the update point of view after each race as well. The updates would be quicker and therefore less wait time. There will be people who agree and disagree and i aint looking to make friends over the issue, just think it's poor management from the sites point of view, and a waste of my time and effort to get one.

You've set both to "very high" priority?

The priority is amongst your own negotiations, so if you set them both to VHigh they will just go at the same speed as it you set them noth to Normal or VLow.

Set one to VHigh & the other to VLow and one of them will suddenly get quicker than the other.

Also, sponsorship negotiation speed is at least in part effected by your race finishes. So the higher you finish, the quicker you get your sponsors :)

i don't want to open a new topic but since talking about negotiation..

My previous sponsor offered me 1M per race..Now that's it is expired the new sponsor that i'm negotiating with offered me 300K,,You think it's too low? I clicked that it's unacceptable...What kind of money should i expect ?

Oh just to mention that the sponsor that i'm negotiating with has full bar in finances

It depends on many factors, not just the number of bars they have for finance.

Have had the sponsor negotiation since the beginning on very high and the other one on low.....have 2 running and yet others have done the same and got a sponsor through.....

last 2 races havn't been that great but prior to that was getting into points with 7th and 8th place finishes......

this seems ironic that we struggle to get one while elite racers can have 5 at once, (dont get me wrong not saying they havnt earnt that right) but hells bells why isn't it possible to keep peoples interest strong rather than letting it wane, especially for the sake of the game in general. Seems slightly prejudicial to me!!!!!!!!!
