Ooh! Bad luck for Martti as the #37 Jackie Chan car ended its race just during his picked hour. It's also a disaster for Ania who had the #37 picked for hour 16 and thus scores 0 laps from that one.
Alex still seems to have a retired car for his Hour 22. I only had a quick glance but assumably others' remaining picks are all in the race.

And here's all the other standings that are available so far. If Alex manages to change his Hour 22 #95 Aston Martin Racing pick, this could be really close with him and James. In fact that hour starts now in 27 minutes.

Ah so let's capture the remaining 6 hours here too! The first three of them:
Well this gets interesting! James is another victim of the retired #37 as he unfortunately as well gets a 0-score from hour 19. Even though Alex looks to be getting one also later on, this still stays close.
Hour 20: James gets another mishap as #54 Spirit Of Race drives only 10 laps.
Hour 21 was another safety car hour and my Rebellion couldn't get me more advantage over others' GT cars.
Player | Pick | Hour 19 laps | Total laps |

Alex Martez | #54 Spirit Of Race | +14 laps | 283 laps | Martti Kaasik | #51 AF Corse | +15 laps | 280 laps | Mikko Suhonen | #22 United Autosports | +17 laps | 278 laps | James Hitchen | #37 Jackie Chan DC Racing | +0 laps | 271 laps | Ania Piekarska | #63 Corvette Racing | +15 laps | 271 laps |
Player | Pick | Hour 20 laps | Total laps |

Alex Martez | #60 Kessel Racing | +13 laps | 296 laps | Mikko Suhonen | #7 Toyota Gazoo Racing | +17 laps | 295 laps | Martti Kaasik | #85 Keating Motorsports | +14 laps | 294 laps | Ania Piekarska | #91 Porsche GT Team | +15 laps | 286 laps | James Hitchen | #54 Spirit Of Race | +10 laps | 281 laps |
Player | Pick | Hour 21 laps | Total laps |

I thought my #37 Jackie Chan choice was a race ending mistake. It hurt especially since I swapped them in place of a perfectly fine team. Others getting the same issue is kind of comforting I'd say.

And let's see what the remaining three hours gave us.
Hour 22: Alex was unfortunate as his #95 Aston had already retired in the night. I was the last one to use a LMP1 car and gain a few laps advantage over Martti which may be crucial. But win battle still open. If no more retired picks, Ania is now quite comfortable third. Alex is now left to fight with James for the honours of finishing 4th.
Player | Pick | Hour 22 laps | Total laps |
---|
Mikko Suhonen | #3 Rebellion Racing | +18 laps | 326 laps | Martti Kaasik | #56 Team Project 1 | +16 laps | 323 laps | Ania Piekarska | #56 Team Project 1 | +16 laps | 314 laps | James Hitchen | #77 Dempsey Proton Racing | +16 laps | 309 laps | Alex Martez | #95 Aston Martin Racing | +0 laps | 308 laps |
Hour 23:
Quote ( Martti Kaasik @ June 16th 2019,12:45:32 ) Hour 23: #61 WEATHERTECH RACING Umm #61 is Clearwater Racing, and #62 is WeatherTech Racing. #61 drove 12 laps and #62 drove 15 laps in the hour so there is slight difference which one is the real pick here. I'm gonna assume that's the #62 then, as you've explicitly mentioned the whole team name too.
So Martti catches me and is only two laps away! That's a hard task to close that gap though but possible. Alex re-passes James also for 4th as the #97 Aston is in good shape.
Player | Pick | Hour 23 laps | Total laps |
---|
Mikko Suhonen | #56 Team Project 1 | +14 laps | 340 laps | Martti Kaasik | #62 WeatherTech Racing | +15 laps | 338 laps | Ania Piekarska | #86 Gulf Racing | +15 laps | 329 laps | Alex Martez | #97 Aston Martin Racing | +15 laps | 323 laps | James Hitchen | #61 Clearwater | +12 laps | 321 laps |
Hour 24:
...but the #98 Aston is not in as good shape. In fact they had mechanical problems late last evening and had to retire, causing Alex another last 0-score here. Thus James passes and gets the 4th place!
Ania finishes on the bronze this time after a few ups and downs.
And the win battle is decided when Martti's #30 Duquine cannot get as many laps under its belt in the closing stages, whereas Mikko's #28 TDS crowns him the winner this time! Well, at least the winner for now, let me still check everyone's used enough cars per category and there's no duplicate picks :D
Final Result | Player | Pick | Hour 24 laps | Total laps |
---|
1st | Mikko Suhonen | #28 TDS Racing | +16 laps | 356 laps | 2nd | Martti Kaasik | #30 DUQUEINE ENGINEERING | +14 laps | 352 laps | 3rd | Ania Piekarska | #78 Proton Competition | +15 laps | 344 laps | 4th | James Hitchen | #85 Keating Motorsports | +15 laps | 336 laps | 5th | Alex Martez | #98 Aston Martin Racing | +0 laps | 323 laps |

Wow what a finish Mikko! From last in hour 15, to first in hour 22.
I'm proud of myself for catching the Gulf car at it's best (15 laps in hour 23).
Thanks Mikko for hosting. I wasn't convinced of this kind of games, but even without much knowledge about the teams, it was fun.

Thanks for running this Mikko, I love this format for events like this. Shame about hour 19 and 20. I was hoping i’d of been awake by then and could of changed my final few hours line ups, but oh well. Congrats Mikko! :D

And the re-count is done! Even with the high amount of different numbers, colours and team names, I'm positive that everyone used at least 4 cars from each category AND didn't duplicate any picks. See below link (no image rights this time in this topic :) )

Thanks both, I'm glad you enjoyed! It seems it was an endurance game too, as I was the only one who didn't get a below-10-lap score from any hour. Even with the struggles early on. Also an endurance game as the players who can stay up the most and not pick 0-scores, are good too. Otherwise you just need luck like yours truly :p
And thanks for playing you all! Let's do this again next year, looks like this concept works good. It's good also in the sense that you don't even need much info about the teams, I mean I don't follow (yet) WEC or their counterparts that closely myself either.

Yes my choice was supposed to be #62 WEATHERTECH RACING... I don't know how I made that mistake.
Great race. Thanks for hosting. Hope we will have another one next year ;)
