12. Most Underachieving Manager: a) Radek Sus b) Leandro Sereno c) Twig Fahaji d) Tomek Klepinski e) Jasper Coosemans f) Ioannis Dimitroglu g) Wouter Teuwen h) Yug Desai
Radek - Past 3 seasons have been survival for this former pole champion Leandro - Left it late to survive last season for a 7 time champ Twig - His first season in Elite resulted in relegating in 31st Tomek - Maybe should've done better on BR as he only finished in 8th Jasper - Despite 2 wins he could only manage a 9th in his group Ioannis - Despite finishing 3rd he was not good enough to challenge the title Wouter - Despite being in 6th people wasn't happy, maybe his move to Jag didn't help Yug - Despite being on Pips people wanted to see a better challenge for the defending champion

13. Most Overachieving GPRO Team: a) Victorious Secret b) GURGEL Racing c) Jaguar Racing d) Rolling Thunder e) Wiseguys Racing Team
And now its the teams turn
Victorious - A 10th place as they show they are a constant threat for top 10 GURGEL - 22nd is their best performance since S52 when they came 27th Jaguar - 9th place, maybe a sympathy vote Rolling - 12th is their best performance ever and they were in the cup for the first time since S26! Wiseguys - 6th place and SF cup performance is their best ever performance

Quote ( Kyle Morris @ August 30th 2019,20:02:23 ) Not even close! Miel resoundingly wins this category by a landslide, 8 in front of the nearest person Jay
Of course that wasn't close. But at least a good safety margin with the double Dutch ;)

And now final words from the host
Start of the season has been tough for me losing a lot of motivation, from the events of R17 to what happened in todays race, its knocked me a bit, but then you realise its just a game. Stuff like this gives me enough motivation to carry on going, and while i can moan all i like, it won't change anything
Taking a relaxed approach has helped, and like last season i pretty much didn't know who won each category until they were being announced and was writing this all on the fly without pre-preparement except in the sheet beforehand. Thank you for taking the time to read this and see you in 2 months!

Quote ( Kyle Morris @ August 30th 2019,20:33:09 ) PODIUM PREDICTION, ULTIMATE RACE MANAGER, GPRO WORLD CUP AND F1 REVISITED
So delighted to see my game in amongst these other epic games :) Podium Prediction is a proper GPRO stalwart, Seb has worked miracle to revive URM and Jasper has done briliantly to introduce the GPRO World Cup and make it so big so quickly. Proper pleased to be in this exalted company :D
Also very pleased to be 2nd in Silly Games Host - thanks for all those who voted for me :)
Cracking awards Kyle - made great reading!

Thanks for the Oscar for the World Cup and congrats to the fellow winners Podium Prediction, URM and F1 Revisited! The World Cup can only run thanks to broad community participation, so in particular I have to thank all of the Team Captains. I was they who brought a few hundred players to the game, not me! I hope it's a new tradition that will carry on for a long time.
Also, thanks to Roland Postle for being called Roland Postle. =)

Kyle, keep it up youve done a good job with the awards since taking over. But if you're doubting yourself, perhaps you could ask one of the many people nominated in your 'best silly games host' category if they will be willing to substitute in the event you end up like me and many others (not bothered to commit to much in the game). That could safeguard the thread and give you an opportunity to decide freely at some point without pressure.

Nice hosting again mr. host! You've done this in an brilliant forum fashion again and good to see that there was a decent bunch of voters too. Always hoping for more but 40 is already a decent number after some season with 20ish(?) voters.
Quote ( Kyle Morris @ August 30th 2019,23:15:38 ) and like last season i pretty much didn't know who won each category until they were being announced and was writing this all on the fly without pre-preparement except in the sheet beforehand Now that sounds like excellent fun. I remember that it wasn't as easy to not know who is going to win, but perhaps your Google sheet makes it more exciting. Good stuff. Well as long as you are able to check that people aren't voting for their teammates and so on ;)
Quote ( Kyle Morris @ August 30th 2019,22:02:00 ) People don't realise the magic of Volbeat...
Also Mikko posted this
12pts- g 10 - a 8 - i 7 - e 6 - d 5 - m 4 - n 3 - h 2 - k 1 - b
MIKKO LIKES VOLBEAT!!!
Yeap ever since I heard of them circa March 2007 or so :) Don't know why but I remember Radio Girl blasting in the slalom slope radio on the lift up. No wonder I was first to submit them in GPROvision back in the days :p Leviathan has even sounded like one of the best ever Volbeat songs now that local rock radio stations haven't yet over-played it, or at least I haven't been over-exposed to it just yet.
Meh what a wrong winner there in that category anyway. Nobody gonna beat my car it's gonna break the speed of sound! You should have counted my real GPROvision votes there. On that note, see the next edition of the famous game here, starting tomorrow: /gb/forum/ViewTopic.asp?TopicId=28969
