1) Safety Car is basicly a Random 2.0 and we don't want that. Difference between F1 and GPRO is that in GPRO you predict how the race will go and in F1 you react to how the race is going. That is the main reason why Safety Car works in F1 and not in GPRO
2) I think this would diminuish the importance of weighing strategy vs speed and also OT and DT. IMO
3) Ok so you have 40 managers per group currently. Now multiply that by 2. 80 CARS RACING ON THE TRACK. Oh, you want to decrease the number of cars by half? No problem, now you have DOUBLE THE GROUPS and suddenly the PostleServer dies.
These are just the issues that come up on the top of my head. If you solve them, sure enough, I will support the idea, but until then, that's a nono from me.

I said that to solve the strategy problems in the case of a safey car, an extra screen should be added in the strategy settings: In this screen you could order the driver to save fuel or to return to the pits for refueling (but I would avoid it because it will affect on the fuel strategy set by law (when the safety car is not on the track)

Under a safety car, tyre wear would be lower, fuel consumption would be lower (that always happens when you have a safety car) so ultimately you would have a screwed up strategy as well.
Besides, as said before, what is the point of a safety car? There aren't any safety concerns in GPRO.

What you see is not what you think it is. The 'race screen' is the result of a computer simulation made from the individual manager's race input. Not a spontaneous event or a 'current/present time' event with individual managers.
Things can't change during the race, because it has already been determined by the input, prior to the race start. That's why it takes 1 & 1/2 hours to start the race after qualifying.

exactly like a puncture happens to a car or an accident at the start, an accident can be decided that will cause the safety car to enter the track

In GPRO, there is a base of players who have been nullified by events out of their control at some point in time. The list of random (or chance) events comprises of the following:
- random tyre puncture (resulting in a DNF or extra pit stop)
- random pit (eg. driver is sick in the helmet, the steering wheel is broken, etc)
- early parts failure (a part 'smoking' (costing 3+ seconds per lap) when it was not due to hit 90%+ wear)
Then there are events that leave the results to chance:
- parts smoking between 95% & 99% (early, but it statistically has a chance of happening, albeit very small)
- qualifying & race driver errors (some people have documented +1s errors in quali despite having 250 (x stat, you will know what I mean if you understand quali push)
- weather not matching seasonal tyre choice (for example if some players in Master had warmer temperatures on average this season they would have much more points)
- random weather scenarios (no one strategy can ever be 'perfect' in some situations)
- blocking impacts on the race results (all dependent on factors like starts, other players clear track & blocking stats, again, out of user's control)
These random (or chance) events, if they go wrong for managers, can result in horrible impacts such as multiple sponsors dropping out of their hands (sponsors are the backbone of most 'elite' runs), inability to afford testing/pushing in the future races, and in a lot of cases because of these things even the best-planned players have to drop down a level to redo a plan that took them 2+ real-life years to get to that point in the first place. Some come back, but a lot retire.
The reason I bring all this up is you are suggesting adding 2 more randomized events to the results, and making scoring points twice as difficult as you would like to double the field. The long-term players have responded badly to these suggestions because most already agree that the randomness of GPRO needs to be reduced instead of increased

I have suggested before we had snipers to shoot your tyres at random times and also drivers carry swords to damage other cars as well. We can meet at halfway im sure :)
