Well ideally I would like an answer from one of those who feels the war is a a good idea on if they would of been happy if the USA had rolled troops in as peacekeepers and why did you not ask to send troops in as peacekeepers as part of a multinational task force from the UN.
It's clear not all Russians think the same way, but if your answer to the first question is no, its nothing to do about the people who have lost their lives in the two regions its about something else.
It's interesting to hear different opinions on the subject, its something I try to actively do anyway, but when there are people professing about critical thinking and then regurgitating Putin's lines, or Boris's or Biden's for that matter you know there is no critical thinking.

I'm not really surprised given the relationship between India and Russia. I just learned that much of the military equipment in India, was supplied by the Russians. It also stated that much of that equipment is "heavy" on upkeep, if and when it is functioning.
I think I saw this on the YouTube Channel by WION, which btw has some insightful video's also referencing this conflict at hand.
Russia is under huge sanctions... What I'd like to ask... Did anyone already buy Chinese yen? :)

It would be a shame for me to race under the Russian or Belarusian flag at the moment. Let the rider of each Russia and Belarus choose or be proud of his country's actions or protest against the war. I have not seen whether or not GPROs can fly the neutral GPRO flag without representing a particular country. It would be even more radical to fly the Ukrainian flag, but it could put people representing countries with repressive regimes in an awkward position. Like taking to the streets with a poster - I'm against war. Against any war, especially against the war started by the President of my country.
I have friends in Russia who have long been conducting all political talks only in their own kitchen, with their family.
Fear of expressing one's views openly is what totalitarian regimes achieve through repression.
I do not blame the GPRO players in these countries. I guarantee that they are all as peaceful as any of us.
I only hope that the supporters of the Russian world at least understand that the peace of this world is the same as the peace of Nazi Germany once was.

I'm missing the honest and not offensive point of view from russian people:
- Do you still think that it is a special operation and not a war. How it is different? please note, that russia admitted ±500 casualties already.
- Who and why is bombing civil infrastructure in Ukraine? If it is denazification and demilitarisation, then how it is related to universities and hospitals which are now down?
- Do you agree with your leaders that this war was necessary and legit?
- Will Yanukovich represents all Ukrainians in case he is back in office?
- If some region in russia votes against putin, can they take the weapons and declare independence?
- How the hell the tank photo was taken in donbas, if there were no russian troops?

Just because Mark is from England, therefore he cannot comment because England has done wrong? That sort of argument is absolute bullshit, as no one would be able to comment as their country has done wrong. A person is not a country, they can disagree with what the country they were born in has done in the past and present. Just because they are from their country, that doesn't nullify their opinion by default on certain topics, fuck that.

The March 2003 campaign against Iraq was conducted by a coalition of forces from different countries, some of which were NATO member countries and some were not. NATO as an organization had no role in the decision to undertake the campaign or to conduct it.

Petrol rations (not that a lot of people had a car), almost no heating in the apartment blocks during the winter, a few hours of TV during the day, most of which were just praising the "great leader" or the communist party (the only party, all other political parties were "illegal"), and some news, so in a word, propaganda, fear of the secret police, no freedom of speech, no freedom of movement...It was a crime to hold foreign currency in the `80s. Think about that. So I doubt the standard of live was "much better".

You have no idea how much you downplay the level of corruption in Russia. I say this with confidence as a person living in a country with the same problems, with the only difference being that since 2004, since the Orange Revolution, positive changes have begun here. Slow and painful.
