Quote ( Sebastian Jóźwiak @ January 14th 2021,17:55:27 ) The final game of Season 2 is over! We have a clear winner in Ivelin Dobrev, who didn't make Ania keep her record of most points in a single game
It's a friendly, so does it count? ;P
Thanks to everyone for playing, this was my first game(non mafia) as host and it was one hell of a ride (pun intended). As I was telling Seb, this game drives you crazy as a player & mod both! Ofc because of different reasons. @Sebastian Jóźwiak (P4) is a great host, no idea what laziness he's talking about, he was extremely busy already but still agreed to do an additional game for the...... people!
*Three cheers for Seb*

With Season 3..... are we:
Option 1 - THUMBS UP
Sticking with the American board, playing the same map.
OR
Option 2 - THUMBS DOWN
Change to the European board, having some new fun!
@Sebastian Jóźwiak (P4) will the Google Docs be compatible with the European board should we decide to play it?
@Ania Piekarska (E) will the European board be something you want to host with? :)

Some modifications would have to be made to it due to rules (train stations, tunnel routes) but it shouldn't be a problem ;)
Unless you want to play under US rules, then it's 100% good to run with it :)

I've never played the European version but the US version is pretty luck dependent (that's ofc pretty annoying when you are on the bad side), the tickets might be better distributed but it will still be luck dependent. Has anyone played 7 wonders? That's much less luck dependent and a lot more fun, games won't last a month either.

I have played 7 wonders a couple of times, 6-player games if I remember correctly. I can't recall exactly how the game is played but I had some fun playing it.
If the excel sheet is perfectly adaptable to the european version of ticket to ride, I would probably say to change. Otherwise I'd keep with the US version which seems to be simpler.

I'm fine with Europe board, and actually more familiar with it than US map.
Quote ( Nate Lung @ January 7th 2021,15:13:21 ) Play the London version. It only has 17 cars a player and is a much faster game, which could be better for the forum setting :)
This sounds interesting to me too. I never played this one but I'm up to try hosting/playing it.

I would try the Europe version I think, but I would also play the US version either the original again or the 1910 extension with 69 tickets instead of 30.

It's 3-7 players, we can also play it on board game arena in real time. I don't mind explaining the game to people if they are interested.
