☝ This... I think this would be fairer to everyone, especially those that can't log in on the day of the race or even a couple of days after. Worth making this suggestion a poll?

That was just in Race 1 while the pre-season staff market was ongoing. Beyond this you can basically finish as soon as you qualify. I could retain 22:00 on each Monday/Thursday though if that is preferred but obviously not until either the next race or the next round.
Nice job @Tim Wagner (P13) who claims the overall lead in the first race with a whopping 12.5 points! @Bert Meeus (A57) and @Peter Willmore (P6) also both scored 11.5 and 10 points respectively, while @Ricardo Antunes (A28) and @Jonathan Beagles (P15) scored 9.5 points each for very strong performances too. Nice view at the bottom for me, and for my team mate who start crashed and somehow still beat me :D
5.5 points seemed quite a high number to ensure keeping out of the elimination zone tie-break. Nobody is eliminated until after race 5, so still time for those down in there to turn things around. Probably won't be the case for me though!

Would prefer that Monday/Thursday 22 CET slot tbf. Maybe make it a survey and then change it for the next elimination round.
GREEN thumb if you prefer that you can FINISH from 22:00 CET each Monday and Thursday and until 22:00 CET on Race day (Tuesday and Friday). This will give everyone a fairer chance to assess the next race and prepare for it. AKA "its a marathon not a sprint".
ORANGE thumb if you prefer to FINISH from 22;00 CET immediately after each post race update. This will give an advantage to people who need the least time to prepare for the race. AKA "snooze and you lose".
voting will close at 20:00 CET tomorrow and whichever has the most votes will be enforced from Race 3 onwards.

So, from Race 3 you will be able to FINISH from 22:00 CET every Monday and Thursday and with a deadline of 22:00 CET on race day, giving a 24 hour period for everyone to post. This will be the same as we had leading into Race 1 and obviously enough people preferred that we go forth with that.
As said before, I will not conduct a 'START' procedure as has been the case in other Finish type games, its simply down to the players, nor will I send reminders except like I have done here with tags for those that hadn't posted when only a few hours remain.
Some points of note :
Any finish before 22:00 CET Monday/Thursday will be invalid. In the case you haev a brain fart, you will get a 30 minute saving grace (the time you're able to edit your post) to delete said brain fart. Else, any post containing 'Finish' with a pre-22:00 post time will be invalidated and score a zero should it remain. Double posts are obviously not allowed either to avoid the potential for flood spam.

I was doing my GPRO stuff without thinking. I finished at :58, suddenly got the notification, thought "Hey, thats on now" and just in time got everything together to post. Really flukey this time :D
