Results of race 16 (congratz to Kevin Abdalla for winning the race):

Mario leading with 8 points. In order for Stuart to win the championship he must win the next race and Mario must get below 2 points. Considering the SRS, unlikely to happen, but stay tuned!

Do you want a race every 2 days or 3 days?
OR
Do you want a race 2 or 3 times a week on set days each week?
I am leaning towards 3 races a week on set days.

Should the next season be Season 1 or Season 2?
I have the OP pretty much ready, but will wait for more feedback.
Look for the new season to be posted within 24 hours.
First 16 will be guaranteed a spot in the competition. Returning players will have 2 or 3 days to confirm their position. The first race should be in 1 week at the absolute latest.

Agree with Ethan....I think in the final race next seaon players who don't post what they want to spend then there default amount is done as normal. Though I quite liked the idea that for every race you do not submit, in the final race you are taxed 5% of the remaining SRS for each one you didn't submit in the previous 16 races. So, 5 missed races = 25% tax. I think activity should be rewarded somewhat.

^This. Even if you want to repeat the score, maybe you should make sure you mention it. But inactivity shouldnt allow you to just sit and earn money
E: If I were to make a change, no money reward OR point reward for the person not sending in his PM. This could perhaps be made a punishment from 2nd consecutive missed race onwards(or third)

No preference here.
A bronze medal ain't so bad :) Mario clearly outraced us this season.
Random thought for next season...
What if players were allowed to "overspend" their current balance, knowing they will make some money from the race? Then there would be a major penalty of some kind for going negative... End of season point loss, race DSQ, etc.

totally agree.....I think the tax system would work for that in the last race....it wouldn't be unfair I don't think.

This sounds reasonable. Essentially, it became a 16 race season with one race for those who weren't really participating.

I think that would change the game too much, I like it the way it is.
Maybe if you don't send you only have half the SRS back than you usually would. So if you don't send and it counts as 0, you get 5 SRS instead of 10. :)

I like the default value - however, maybe it can be for a maximum of 3 consecutive races.

I don't think there should be a reward for having negative equity Nate. Just a final race tax for inactive races is good enough.

What Mairo could only do for the 1st 3 races this season can now be done for quite a few races, not good.
Given the high current activity here, I am going to repost my suggestion from the edit in the previous post so people read it...

One change that will be coming is that if there is a tie for last place at 0 SRS Spent, then the amount of SRS those in the tie receive will be decreased from 10 SRS depending on the number tied at 0.
An example will better explain it:
1 person sends/default 0 SRS = they receive 10 SRS
2 people send/default 0 SRS = they receive 9 SRS
3 people send/default 0 SRS = they receive 8 SRS

Yes, for every other number it will be the same as this season - it is just an even greater penalty for the LAST place tie of 0 SRS.
I have to go get qualifying done...........so I will step aside for a bit.
Edit: One last thing - there will be a teams element next season (they will not combine SRS though)....details to come later.
