Congratulation to Portugal. Champion of S86!

Belgium was thus eliminated by the future winner.

Many countries are still looking for a captain. Don't hesitate to propose yourself...

Congratulations to Portugal for this victory and to Latvia for this beautiful duel in the final.

We will have at least the satisfaction to say that we only lost against the winner of the competition.

See you in season 87

I created my team and I'm waiting.

I did not add 2 backups, I do not understand how to add them, if I add them normally, they appear as administrators.

You will have to select 8 managers from your country. Positions 1 to 6 are the managers that you will have to line up for the whole season (so you can't replace them as soon as they have made a GP). Positions 7 and 8 are for temporary managers that you can replace at certain times (note that if you want to keep the same temporary managers, you will have to select them again when the deadline arrives). The expiry date is indicated behind the managers you have selected.

It is not obligatory to select all managers from the first GP. Generally, if you keep some places available for later, it is the ones assigned to the manager who will do the whole season that you will leave free. However, since you can only select your temporary managers after you have put 6 managers for the whole season, you put 6 managers for the whole season, then you put your two temporary managers and then you remove the managers from positions 1 to 6 that you don't want to put on your roster from the beginning of the season.

The goal is to be in the top 16 after 5 GP... And to have the complete team (8 managers from the 6th GP).

Did this answer your questions?

Many great countries do not have a captain yet (Brazil, Italy, Argentina, Hungary, USA, Germany, Russia, Venezuela, Canada in the top 20).

Notice to the managers of these countries who are interested in this role... It's now or never...

The complete list of countries is available here:

Is it okay if I don't choose 6 admins now?
can we complete six later

I was already putting 8 managers in total. Am I doing it wrong?

I'm looking to head up team USA since we seem to not be represented.

Sent Jasper a message, anything else I need to do?

I figure now that we are winning championships in Elite - need to rep at a country level!

You can always go to the world cup website, login and apply on the election tab.

When Jasper gives you access, you will have to select managers from your country (if possible already certain before the first GP. You will be able to add some more as you go along until you are complete for GP6 at the latest. The goal is to be in the top 16 at the end of GP5. The temporary drivers must be selected again at the end of the GP2, GP5,... even if you keep the same temporary managers.
For the rest, I advise you to read the "rules" tab.

I don't see an 'apply' function on the election tab though - it just says reach out to Jasper C.

Thank you for the insight!

Elections for current season take place the season before, that's why.

To be captain for this period, contact the Jaspa. Towards the end of the season, when election for next season opens, then remember to apply. If you are the only candidate (or win against other candidate(s)), you'll be placed as captain again for next season.

Very happy with the early round success in my rookie debut. USA definitely representing well, but there is stiff competition behind me, will see if we can keep this points scoring rolling!

Good luck to all as we approach the bracket!

Very interesting start indeed for your country. However, many nations (including Belgium) have not yet selected all the players for the team. The points that we (Belgium) have acquired so far were only with maxiumum 6 managers out of the 8 possible. We will be complete for the start of the 1/8 finals because the goal now is only to enter the top 16...

Some nations are still looking for a captain in order to be able to participate (more in view of the 88 season as the qualification phase will end soon).

Among the most prominent nations on gpro, these ones are not participating at the moment because of the lack of a captain:

Italy
Hungary
Germany
Russia
Canada
Australia
Finland
Sweden
Mexico
India
Austria
Estonia
South Africa

I stopped at the top 35. To see if your nation has a captain, here is the direct link:

Don't hesitate to come forward and take part...
