Do we ever find out tyre points? Like is it before we pick engines? After we pick engines? Or race by race?
I just want to know if i am sending in advance or not :D

Race by race, they are unknown just like other drivers' HP setups are unknown until (basically) Qualfying.
Yes this will be a bit of a madness.

Driver Market - Round 1
Driver #2 - Gordini (Marvin Mackenberg) - Innes Ireland (1.5c, 2 seasons) Driver #2 - Porsche (Eduardo Fernandes) - Cesare Perdisa (2.4c, 2 seasons) Driver #1 - Lancia (Shannon Fuerte) - Tony Maggs (1.5c, 1 season) Driver #2 - Cooper (Josh Anderson) - Jean Behra (1.7c, 1 season)
Everyone got their first choice so the Market ends here. Returning Lotus is up next who can name any remaining free agents, then any newcomers can join and do the same.

A final update on engines (you can STILL develop one until tonight 22:00 GPRO Time). All but one engine names are ready. Engine names don't have to contain 'L6' anymore so feel free to get even more creative with the names.

Lotus returns from their long winter break with an all-new lineup, and it's an interesting one: Dan Gurney is back after a not so good rookie season with Veritas, and his teammate is none other than 1952 Champion Stirling Moss, leaving Maserati after ten straight seasons.
Joining is open!
At this point, returning players/rookies can #Join here in the thread by selection one team and one or two drivers.

Time is up, at least for the engines. PM sent to Wopke now, he has until Sunday 22:00 to develop his engine, then Stefan can do the same with a Tuesday 22:00 deadline.

Too late for engine research again? :( :(
If not, call it the Ricardo Aston-Martin (RAM).
FYI, no change to drivers, tires, or livery.

Quote ( Jaelan Smith @ March 28th 2020,11:01:55 ) another year of only one driver :| You can hire a second driver @Jaelan Smith (R1) , although the primary time window was earlier this week.
The reason this is allowed and Engine Development isn't, is that selecting a second driver doesn't change the schedule. If I were to wait for a new engine, then I'd had to resend the engine list to Wopke, then Stefan, which delays the whole Engine selection process.

The second is good news. :)
I'll at least have time to try & think of a really good name for the engine program for next season. ;p. (FYI: put me down for it now, if you can. That way I won't miss another bloody deadline because of a system glitch. :D )

That way I won't miss another bloody deadline because of a system glitch. :D I cannot promise much, given the next engine developing window will be in early June, and you will always have to announce the engine plans in the thread (so that your fellow competitors know what to expect).
(Maybe I can send you a reminder...?) You can also try to remember that engine development is done in the first three days after creating the new thread.
It's @Wopke Hoekstra (R12) 's turn to develop his engine, until 22:00 tonight.

Cooper 154/61: The balanced choice
Cooper have today unveiled their first Formula GeneRally engine since 1955. In a year filled with uncertainty thanks to the withholding of Tyre Point allocations until the race itself, the new Cooper engine aims to restore a sense of balance and certainty to prospective teams.
Team principal Joshua Anderson was keen to point out that the new 154/61 holds its own very well against rival engines in terms of performance, but also maintains this performance for more of the season than competing engines.
The engine, as per 1961 Formula GeneRally regulations, is of 1500cc displacement - and somewhat interestingly, Cooper have opted for the venerable inline-4 design, rather than the inline-6 opted for by several teams this season.
This is not expected to affect performance, as seen by the team's data sheets - the 154/61 provides at least 4 so-called "engine points" at 7 of the 9 races this season, guaranteeing a competitive, consistent package that admittedly specialises nowhere, but competes almost anywhere - a return to an older philosophy of engine development.
The Cooper 154/61. Consistency and stability in an uncertain season.

In their typical fashion, Kurtis Kraft have spoken up after Cooper's press release to announce that their NKK Royal is "bigger and better, the strongest engine in the history of ever". Technical analysis concludes that while their engine particularly suits Italy as usual, it should also be strong on the new and returning tracks at the beginning of the calendar.
The American team seem confident that with the strengths of their own car and their long-year partnership with Dunlop, they can rise to the top once again, while hoping to convince other teams to rise with them by buying into the new engine philosophy after last year's disaster.
Their low pricetag on the engine should help bring in new customers, while manager Constantin Heller extends a hand to teams who have partnered with Kurtis Kraft in previous years, mentioning Bugatti as a good and loyal past customer.
"They literally asked us to build an engine for them last year. How could we not invite them to join us once more", he says. When asked about Cooper's recent announcement, he adds "Suck it Josh, we're cheaper!" The German manager would also like to ask you to like and subscribe, and to not forget checking out their title sponsor, Navistar.
