@Tim Wagner (P13) had a storming start to the final round with a score of 13.5 and in race 15 scored another 10.5 and he shares the lead with @Bert Meeus (A57) who also scored 13.5 this race and 10.5 in the first. Great job from both. It also means @Bert Meeus (A57) is closing in on @Peter Willmore (P6) at the top of the championship. Just a few points between them now so the battle is on their and although Peter's results remain consistent, Bert has clearly stepped things up going into the end of the season, so could yet find himself back at the top. @Ricardo Antunes (A28) has had three very average results in a row and surely now has little chance of winning anything, an unlucky tyre puncture this race resulted in this poor result and that looks enough to have ended things for him.

The Eliminator title will surely be won by either Bert, Peter, George or Tim though. The bottom four guys seem to have far too much ground to make up. Good luck to all next race!

That tyre puncture was actually good, because I'm moti dropping. Don't expect me to win anything :P

For the next season of the game will be some small changes.

Firstly, points for pit stops will disappear completely and an increase to your finish points instead.

Secondly, I have 3 ‘sprint’ finish races planned which would be staged on the Sunday BEFORE the end of each of the First 3 rounds (but not in the final). This then gives the chance for those with lower scores from their GPRO races to get some performance boost to their round total.

The sprint races I may yet defer, but only because it would require players to be available to post on those three Sunday’s. There isn’t really another more ideal day of the week for such a thing to take place, since its right in the middle of the between time from Friday to Tuesday GPRO races.

Of course, it could be kept on the shelf yet, especially if people just prefer it like it is now and just increasing the Finish points per race as mentioned in the first point.

I am hoping the next season will be hot on the heels of this one, but, it could be an every-other-season hosted game that I run. I guess it depends how many are e happy to keep playing. I was pleased with hosting at least.

Good luck anyway to everyone in the last two races. Who will come out on top? Tim or Bert. Or maybe Peter or George could yet storm the last two races. And Jon would probably like a mention too, but that is a long shot for him!

I'm not too keen on the sprint race idea. Will still keep playing though. :)

Those sprint races won't do any good to me either, but I am ok with it. ;-)

I prefer this rule change to the previous rule change (finish 22h day before race day) because that rule change really hurts me as 22h is a really bad moment for me, especially on Mondays. I preferred the original rule where participants who are able to decide quickly which choices to make for qualification were rewarded.
