Quote ( Asdrúbal Corral @ August 11th 2020,22:10:44 )

I went out on lap 52, "wehn" I was 3 laps behind the leader (he was in lap 55)
After race is finished, I ran only 49 laps, so out of 90% rule.
Why?

Edit:
In Race Analysis I dropped ou at lap 53.

*Reading from Wiki:*
"GPRO Race Screen Anomalies
When watching the race, your car will always update to include each lap the leader completes. This can cause confusion if you have been smoking for a long period, and your race position actually shows you to be a number of laps behind.
Even though during the race it may appear that you dropped out after completing 48 of 50 laps, if you were actually 5 laps behind, then this is deducted from your lap count after the race - meaning you only actually completed 43 of 50 laps - and therefore did not reach 90% distance.
This is an "anomaly" (or "feature") recognised by the GPRO admins, and have it on their to-do list for the future."

As it is a recognized "anomaly", I think it would be fair for me to receive 100% of the money.

No bug.

you dropped out the race on lap 53 and you were 4 laps behind with 3 laps to go to the end of the race. 4+3 = 7

Lap 53:- A. Corral (0)(+ 4 laps)

Lap 56:- 36. A. Corral (0)(+ 7 laps)

taken from the classic race screen.

56-7 = 49laps completed = 87.5% distance

In holiday mode, when I look at a sponsor's details (NegotiateSponsor.asp), the page footer is shown over the top banner. That means, the 'Support GPRO' and 'Back to office' buttons and the copyright note etc., are all floating at the very top edge of the screen.

Thank you for your comments, guys.
It is how the system is calculating now, and "admins have it on their to-do list for the future" to solve this "anomaly".

In fact I ran 52 laps.
Question related to car parts wear: For car parts below 100%, will the wear be considered for 52 laps or 49 laps? Only to understand to logic behind it...

Race analysis is 52 laps.
Race summary is 49 laps.

To be fair, it should be 49 laps, not 52.

This is the first time I retire from a race, so not sure if it's a bug or not, but I can't see my fuel left and my tyres condition at finish.

Is it normal ?

In general, I think this is not a bug based on how the rules are made, but IMO is quite important.
You can dismiss the current TD today, so it means you can do it just before the market and make the offer again. I suppose it should be changed that DURING MARKET DAY, you cannot dismiss your TD, because as it is now, you can exploit it and get some benefits such as cheaper TD without bonuses :)

AFAIK you can't dismiss TDs on market day, I suppose this is just caused by the delayed market situation.

Little bug on NegotiateSponsor.asp in the Negotiations Event Log: when you hover over the timestamp, the season/race that is shown is wrong for actions taken on race day but before the race.

For example Aug 14th 2020, 15:46:34, when I answered a certain sponsor question, is shown as S77 R10, but it was in fact a few hours before S77 R9.

The same feature does work properly for timestamps on the forum, so maybe it's just a matter of copying the logic from there.

It appears 30mins before the "live" race.

But you can access the start grid after the end of qualifying.

The 'new' race viewer is unreliable in these circumstances, especially with longer races.
If you check the old race viewer it shows 173 laps correctly.

"Forum games forum" isn't too many "forum" here? ;>

e. actually now when I think about it, the whole subcategory has redundant "forum" in their names. The subcategory is already "Other forum categories" so that tells us that we are in forum context therefore no need for another information that it's another "forum".

My suggestion is:
Other forum categories
Formula One
Other sports
Off topic
...
and so on.

Hi Mr Vlad.
...I don't Know if is a Bug...
I ran 3 Practice Laps with 2 Types Tyres.
...after a few minutes I Choose the Middle and made the Q1.!!!
...after when Ι went to Q2 I saw that the system had chosen a third different Type from the 2 I tried !!! ...so my Plan was destroyed.
It's not that the problem But I mention it for you to know. (and yes I know I had to be careful ...)
...Good Morning to All from Sithonia.!!!
