We're looking for new team livery. It's gonna be used by our both teams:
Polish Racing Team - /TeamProfile.asp?TeamId=81
Polish Racing Team 2 - /TeamProfile.asp?TeamId=614

Rules:
1. Winner gains one season supporter credits immediately after announcement of results
2. Our team receive rights for winner livery (free for change some details)
3. Multiple propositions can be send by one person
4. There can be no winner if propositions wouldn't be good enough
5. Livery can participate in contest as hidden proposition - sended directly to me via PM (http://gpro.net/gb/NewMail.asp?IDM=4683)
6. Livery can participate in contest as open proposition - shown in this topic, with discussion allowed
7. Every GPRO user is allowed to participate
8. There are no requirements about livery design - feel free to be creative
9. Competition lasts 10 days - deadline for sending is at Jan 20th 2013, 23:59:59
10. Winner (or no winner, if our current livery wins) will be choosen in private PRT team voting, about 5-7 days later

Tip:
Liveries related to Poland (white-red pattern/flag/emblem/anything) have probably higher chances than other ones. Majority of us would like to see something like that, but you could shock us with something else and your uncommon graphics skills. Anyway, all the propositions will participate in our voting.

Thanks, Perry. But I made this one really fast, I think I could work more on it, this one is just a sample.

we've already got some great propositions, but there is still a chance for YOU to win supporter credits! :)

what i personally prefer is white-red colours with some cool shapes and patterns, the rest is up to YOU! :)

Hope it doesn't sound disrespectful, but you're paying the astronomical ammount of 6,80 euros for 1 or 2 hours design work to do a livery ???

Wow...

Come on, we don't want to use it in real F1 GP :-) And AFAIK this is the usual rate.

Ok, can you do me a program that calculates convertions, setups, tire wear, parts wear, ... ?

I'll pay you 2,35 euros (I will not use it in real F1)

but wait, couldn't you tell about 1-2 hours? if you think that such a program can be made in 1-2 hours then... good luck in gpro ;)

Yes, I'm underestimating programming work.

But since I'm a designer, I also think you're underestimating design work. I charge around 500 euros for a logo, and it takes me the same 2 hours. That was the whole point in my post.

;)

Let me put it this way: "In real life" it would take me the same amount of time, so I would pay you 6,80 euros just to don't have to do it.

But that is just my way of seeing this, I honestly wish you have success with your team livery. It would be a really nice challenge for a young designer or someone with design skills.

Rui, I get Your point, but I've also made a livery by my own, and I don't think it's so complicated and takes so much time that could be valued more than 6.8e.

But since I'm a designer

and you're designing something like gpro livery in 2 hours? really? ;)

anyway, that's our price and you can do something or not, it's simple :) but except pure euros, winning livery will be used by one of the best polish national teams (actually... the best this season so far), it'll be shown on the grid (by 20 managers!) and we'll be glad to write on the team information page who is a designer. and in the end there is someting like winning satisfaction ;)

I don't see why you're whining here, seasons worth of credits has been the usual compensation for making a livery for years now. Most people make liveries for free even, it's not work, it's more of a hobby.

I'm just talking about it. But if you think I should not talk about it just because you don't have the same point of view, just let me know.

And don't stress just because of this. Lighten up...

I also agree. I think people should do this for the fun of it. I wouldn't do it for 6,8 euros and probably would prefer to do it for free instead.
