Not necessarily. If the position in the car is already occupied by another contract that is still several races long, it is possible that the other manager could still finalize the negotiation and activate the contract, even if the first one reached 100% much earlier.
Is it worth taking the risk and wasting time and money? I don't think so...

@Dimitar Bedachev (A11), it was a good fight for a spot in the Cup final.
I was stuck in your blocks during the first stint and the lost time cost me an eventual victory, as I didn't have a chance to catch up and try to overtake Christer.
Again, excellent race, @Christer Andersson (A11)!!!
Here we go to the Cup final and if I want to fight for the championship, I would have to win the last 3 races.... :-|
That flat tire on the R05 took away important points that I really miss now.
Anyway, there are still chances... :-)
Once again, @Christer Andersson (A11) sets a record for points in a single race in the TOP 8.
At the current pace, the TOP 8 season points record (which belongs to @Dimitar Bedachev (A11) - S96), could be surpassed. Maybe in the next race...

I'm jealous of my teammates in other Amateur groups.
They are winning easily with virtually no risk...

Well, I obviously have nothing to fight for, but I thought i would give a fitting end to our epic battle this season(Also i may try to be the fastest in amateur in one of the races so i could at least win something this season :D). We could all have been with only wins in some other groups, but that wouldn’t be as fun, good luck in the cup final! Fun fact if Asdrúbal Corral (A11) finish second and Christer Andersson (A11) finishes third in every race until the end, Christer Andersson (A11) would still be champion , so it could be very interesting last few races

It seems that the fight for the championship and the Cup will not be as exciting as it was expected to be. Christer is (rightly) focusing on PRO, aiming to increase cash and adjust the OA of his excellent driver.
I should do the same... :))

If @Christer Andersson (A11) gave up on the championship and Cup, on the other hand he is breaking almost all GBG and TOP 8 records.
Today he surpassed the previous record for the number of points in the GBG season, which belonged to Svetlana Shapovalova (798 pts - S84), with 804 pts, and also the record for points in the TOP 8 season, which belonged to Dimitar Bedachev (3.973 pts - S96), with 4.255 pts.
There is still one race left for him (or any of you) to try and break the record for points in a GBG race, which belongs to Bruno Caseiro (142 pts - S84R06).

This was the season with the highest overall score among the participants.
Christer has the GBG record for the season (804 pts), and also the record for a single race (354 pts) and season (4,361 pts) in the TOP 8. He is only missing the record for a single race in GBG.
However, Žilvinas (4,039 pts) and Dimitar (3,996 pts) also surpassed the old record (3,973 pts) that belonged to Dimitar in the S96. Paulo (3,948 pts) didn't surpass that record, but he came very close too.
