My best advice, don't rush into the Amateur level. You won't get another chance to experiment and explore so much for free. Unless you rush and then fall back to Rookie again. Enjoy the ride and the views on your way up. Few things are unimportant. If Any.

Keep spinning the wheel trying different things and you'll get fast enough to jump to... "rush hour in downtown Manhattan".

S3 (S77): The first cut is the deepest

This is the season. We are going to promote and be champions. The Bo$$ has been a bit absent because he is tired of racing with 'play money' and 'infinite lives' and... he misses Jim. Another victim of the 'carousel'. We are not going to 'study law' to race. We have another driver and another different driver. We think of The Driver when we earn the right to.

We need to get to around 100 points. We need to double all our wins and podiums and on the way get our first pole position. To get to at least 4th we need to aim at the 3rd before the 2 last races. To win we need to be at least 2nd then... we have to see the competition in action first. And ourselves. A slightly different start overall and an... enigma in the cockpit. Mihai. Mihai 'Hagi' Hora, the play maker for a long pass. Or a set piece.

R34 (R1) - Silverstone: To the 1st and Beyond

This time around we feel that we are really going to start from "a bottom". But we need to get points every race and good points every time.

I can only spot 3 new ex-Amateurs again but there two returning from retirement and a newbie from last season looks like wanting to have a say too. Then the 2 of us the Class of 75. Already 7 for 4 spots where 3 are Africans. We pretty much run against ourselves and try to keep a steady upward trajectory.

R-62 Grid 9th We already matched our worst grid of last season. We can only half the amount and that's exactly what we are going to do. The qualify was a bit of an enigma too. So it will be the race. Except that we will get points. :-)
R-62 Race 8th This should be our starting bottom... last season. But things got tougher this season. We are all "resitants" and the new managers are also doing well. Just makes it more interesting.
R-62 S77 8th The only way is up. Yazz
Rookie Grid 1318th Equaly one of the worst if not the worst. We have a lot to cover to get to a decent position.
Rookie Race 500th+ (690th) Almost halved the "distance" we had at the start. It wasn't the best race we had regarding the preparations.
Rookie S77 Race 690th It's another bottom that we want to move away up from.
Nations Trophy 88th Start from 2nd with 2 more 1MN's in the One Manager Nation Trophy.

R35 (R2) - Magny Cours: The Next Step

We simply have to finish 7th+ in the race or in the standings in this one. Not easy task with still the 3rd worst driver. Started 2 OA points behind Jim.

R-62 Grid 10th We wanted above 9th but we have some new issues to fix. Our 1st pole position will have to wait for the 2nd half of the championship.
R-62 Race 6th We had a pretty good result under the current conditions. We had brake problems from lap 60 when we were 5th and could finish 4th. Mihai needs a bit more training. In maintenance.
R-62 S77 7th Like a Swiss clock. Onto the 6th now.
Rookie Grid 500th+ We missed this position but it was close to 1200th. We have more work to do and knowledge acquired already.
Rookie Race 500th+ It will take a little more time to get above 500th again. We want to finish the season aiming above 250th.
Rookie S77 Race 597th 250th is also the target.
Nations Trophy 92nd Dropped to 5th even with 2 more nations. This season looks more interesting.

R36 (R3) - Grobnik: One more 'Horse Power' to Ride

We just learned something that would be good to know in a Rookie season start. Or before a season start. 'When in Rome,...'. Let's go odd. If we need to.

R-62 Grid 5th Could not asked for better. The super newbie didn't show up. It's a good change to grab some good points but we need to watch the end of the race again.
R-62 Race 5th Things look like are back on track... from last season. Looks like we also have some speed back.
R-62 S77 6th Should we ask for the 5th right away? We just consolidated our "7th" pretty well. Now we need to consolidate this 6th. Would be good to be 5th after race 5.
Rookie Grid 425th+ This is more what we need to get.
Rookie Race 500th+ I think we got pretty close to the top 500.
Rookie S77 Race 498th Above 500th already but the path to above 250th will be a lot harder.
Nations Trophy 86th We were moved to the 3 Managers' Nation Trophy. Let's see we we get some help later from 2 starting managers. We are 5th but lots' of 2 and 1 managers nations above us. But we are up in the global rank.

R37 (R4) - Brno: Approaching the Green Zone

Here is the "whole" plan. Get into 5th on race 5, inside the green zone on race 10 and... see what to do on race 15. Race 16 and 17 is preparation for next season. Can be our 1st odd move.

Our qualifies still have a lot of room to improve. But we had our new parking spot on the grid. The number 5 again. Time heals everything. :-)
We were expecting a better race and that's exactly what would happen if we miscalculated again. :-) The learning curve dropped below the confidence curve momentarily. And instead of a 4th in the race and a 5th in the championship we had to take a 7th and keep our 6th respectively.
We also dropped in the Rookie's big race. We like to have work to do. In the now 3 Managers' Nation race we keep the "5th".

R38 (R5) - Hungaroring: According to the Plan

We have to do a very good race, in a complicated race, and be in the table's 5th by the end of it. Of course we can do it later but not on schedule.

This was overall a very positive race. We got our best ever grid position, just below one of our this season goals. Then we got our 4th podium too. But the best was going directly to the green zone climbing 2 positions. We are 4th one race ahead of the "deadline". But there are currently 3 managers for 1 spot and we still need to consolidate this "enhanced 5th" this next race and aiming to 3rd and 2nd positions in the following 5 races.
In the level we made great climbs and recoveries too. From 475th, we overtook 194 Rookie cars to finish in 281st! We need a lot of these finishes in the middle third of the season and keep improving our grid position.

R39 (R6) - Jyllands-Ringen: Code Deep Green

It's very difficult to get into the promotion zone let alone get deeper. The championship dream is almost impossible this season. We need to see if we can stand in this position first. Then see how we are on race 10 and if we need the exit plan.

S1.2 - The first victim of a battle is the battle plan itself

Season "2" starts here. It's really season 2 since we only missed the first race of the previous season, but who had to cope with all the games' little non-senses, we feel that this is our real 1st season and can call the previous season a preseason, only with a little advantage of having clear out quite a few rookie level killing "features". That's what Rookies go throw in their first seasons. Clueless into a preseason or learning.

The Bo$$ was short and enigmatic, "We are in business and we are going to start from scratch and go 'Absolute Rookie Full Mode'. With a new driver we are going to be in Amateur in 2 seasons. And with profit. You can mark my words". We hope so, "ex-CFO", can't tell you about the driver's profile but we have to mean business for 2 full seasons for sure. We' ready. Otherwise is looking for a team.

R17 - The Boredom before... the Pleasant Surprise
Nurburgring (R1)

Day 2: Boring again. The crew started cleaning the brand new tools and daydreaming about pit-stop records. We should be all in Anders... storp... torp... in Sweden by now! Having fun and working hard already.

We have a driver, Jim Lancaster. The final piece and biggest asset. The Bo$$ as always broke the ice...kind of. "Jim, the champion and Lancaster, the noble. Will reign supreme and be the next British legend in the Circus." Jim looked a bit clueless about the Jim, the Champion. The only time he lost a bit his "smile". He has a track record of 1 race! When we went to see the facilities and the new car Jim asked his Agent "Did he mean James or Jackie, dad?".

There was a few surprises, Jim got his enhanced smile back and a blink in the eye looking at the car. A gold blink?
Everybody is on board and on the same page and we are going northbound to let Jim and the crew get acquaintance with the car and equipment. Well, not quite well. The Bo$$, had some issues with his own ideas and demands.

- "When is the car painted yellow again?"
- "It's white."
- "Oh, I thought it was the base coat. And why we changed to white? Are we surrendering or something, 'Sun Tzu'?"
- "That's because you forgot the car color after we restored it in your cousin's garage out of the junkyard. And we changed because you said that everything would start from scratch and be like a 'White Canvas' this season."
- "Oh... right, now I picked the color..."
- "No, you picked the name of the 'new' car but we can change for 'Yellow Canvas' if you like. Still a canvas but not empty."
- "You're so funny that I can't remember why I hire you. No, I like it. Looks more like... a Formula Amateur car, more... intimidating. And we don't waste money anymore. Are you sure that under that paint it's all... 'white canvas'?"
- "'Bo$$', you hired me because you wanted to have a Formula Elite team and had nobody to trust and run it except your best friend, just because he made you a marble races champion. And if I could I would make 'the already bought 2nd hand Formula Rookie car' look like the junk before the coat."
- "OK, whatever. Just keep within the budget. Ah, and did I pick the overalls' color too or are we supporting some kind of cause?"
- "No, that's for the better pit-stop times you requested."
. "Alright! I get it, now no more Rumble in the Jungle."
- "Royal Rumble."
- "Whatever, you could start to call me 'Boss' more times.".
- "No problemo. As soon as we get to Elite and you pay me my 1% back and start to pay a salary for my 'wealthy retirement'. I quit my job remember?"
- "No one asked you to quit your job. I knew it right when the engine finally started and you said that it was true resurrection and even your job was starting to feel a little bit boring. You looked like you just escaped a rusty gutter.
- "And starting to work in a couple of hours. Boss!. Speaking about work. Where is your 'mechanical genius cousin'? 'Just a little crazy?' Who jumps onto an engine and starting to try to shake it and screaming 'Staaart!... Staaart!...'. I'm glad that I only told him that the pit stop girls weren't exactly inside the box hanging out with the crew, after the car started. You never bring down the motivation of someone working for you. I could not stand hearing anymore about 'the money' and 'the girls' and crawling all over the dead 'heart of the car' and sucking and blowing into 'the veins'. He should cut on car fluids, specially the MSF, the "magical start fluid". I still believe that it was all a miracle."
- "Or... destiny. Have to go racing with you again. This will be better than the park bikes."
- "What you're talking about? We already did better. We were third then. But having the big guys all around our bike in the end was priceless. Even you could keep the pace in the straight. They just had legs and no time for their top speed. We did scored more points that last championship before the motorcycles craze" ...

We start like last race. In the best grid position ever. 3rd. 2nd ever and in a row. And best Q1, - 0.050s than a super rookie ex-Amateur (and S17 Master) in a great McRalen Marlrobo classic livery. 366 GP's and driver with more 20 races than Jim. Jim starts the season and almost his 1 race career with 74 OA points. Now, it's the strategy moment...
This is the one to watch. Even it's only the rear.

I had already to shout with the Bo$$ to stop talking and saying that we can win and repeating "in 3rd Jim Lancaster, the noble champion mounted on the White Canvas, a pure blood Lusitanian '. But we do this since the day we met. Last time we won was marbles! And there is rain and it can happen a lot of gambling. The cards look much better than I was expecting. We are calling all the bets in round one.
Rookie Level/Game wise it's a 25% increase from 12 cars last 1st race to 15. With 3 more possible active managers for next races.

A very good display from Jim. Now I get his lack of smiling. During pit stops he looked like a statue attached to the car and his eyes all the time on front wing sign. He is all focus. 4th place in his 2nd ever race. Inside the green zone where we wanted to be and expected much later than this. But this is just the first round of game 76 and there are new players on the board. But we have been scoring for 3 races now and with a little bit less bad luck it could be 6. We believe that we can keep this average even with an absolute rookie driver.
On lap 17 he had a "John Watson moment" overtaking 2 cars in two consecutive turns. And on lap 38 took the P2 at 2.247s from the leader and being the fastest on track, closed the difference in two laps to 0.291s glued to a factory McRalen. The crowds sounded clueless in awe... like wondering if that was... Stig himself or something. And then... it was pit stop. Of course.

In the middle of the celebrations, the Bo$$ had another of his "fun pranks". He wanted to change the contract. Just wanted to have another minor option. Be able to kiss me if he couldn't help himself. He showed me the bill too and said 'You said we would start from the bottom and the only way was up, and that you never failed me.'

R18 - Back to Where We Left
Hungaroring (R2)

This race was more of the expected. We came from 9th in the grid to 6th in the finish line. We keep scoring every race but that's not a given yet. Or will never be. Our first 2nd place with Pierre was "weather luck". The second 2nd was intentionally the Gino's "farewell party". This makes Jim's 4th in last race a bigger achievement for the team, but we regard it as an exception. Jim is no Gino yet, but after a timid start in the race we started "doing our thing". We keep the 4th in the standings but we really not expected this so soon. We can live with this new normal. And aim for more instability above. This season is showing to be more competitive and the competition is not in a stand still. Nor do we.

R19 - We Shall Meet Again, Weatherman
Ahvenisto (R3)

The Bo$$ can hardly understand why his weather app is not always accurate on predictions let alone the race weather report.
- "Look at this graph."
- "What's that? We are not going to spend that much that late."
- "It's not the expenses. It's the rain probability for the race."
- "Ah yes, I know."
- "What you mean? Now you understand this... 'nerd thing'?"
- "... yes and no. No one can understand that the probability at 30 minutes will free fall from at least 90% to at most 25%. And then will shoot up from at most 25% to at least 60%. If it was to 0% or 100% it would be just a point within the period. Being a range it will probably the whole period."
- "So, it will be another lottery we can be 2nd again or 12th?"
- "No, this time is more like roulette. You spread your chances as much as you can and wait for a better round to... bet a bigger stack in just one color."
- "Well, at least we are 100% sure that we will win this first cup race, unless someone comes back to life."
- "Yes, expectations are this whole round is clear and we can even get "lucky" and clear the 2nd in the exact same way. Unfortunately, I hate to compete against dead ducks."

3rd again. The 3rd time. In a grid with 1 more car. We can get used to this. We are not as fast as last time. Let's see what we can bring to the race. If we can keep within the wolves' pack the whole season. Since it's... "cruising speed" from now on. And no "farewell party" in the last race.

Sheer luck on a table full of bets. We guessed the number. Otherwise it would be some points anyway. Most probably 4th again, or even a 3rd. We were going to pit, as well as the current leader, but he pitted in the wrong lap and we had beaten the factory McRalen fair and square earlier.
The data looked really bad for the last handful of laps. So bad that everybody was praying for rain with little hope since the data on the race weather was not any better. The McRalen could have taken it again if it wasn't for the weather and had not wait for 1 lap before pit stop.
We love you too, Ahvenisto. Team Museum open.

R20 - Soon We Can Start Drinking
Monte Carlo (R4)

Last race was the last with "extra" spending. And we planned to make 12 points this race. First quarter of the season. We have 18 already. Plans to double the last season's 23 points this season, by race 16, is going quite well. 46 points looks so achievable that we are going to try to triple them to... (calculating) 69 points in only 15 races.
So, on race 5 we need all the points from the whole last season. That would put us in the next "level". The level with 4 promoted rookies and 7 relegated amateurs that we might take a while to get rid of and get to the other side. Getting back to this side and below the green zone of this group is a big possibility that we are going to try to avoid at all costs.
One more free money rookie season would do us a lot of good before starting jumping steps.

We start "in the points" again. And we look fast "again". Last race we didn't look but pulled the fastest lap for our 2nd time. But this is Monaco!
We were delighted to finish the season in Kyalami. But we were aiming to try to get between 6th and 8th often and try our best in the last race again. Which had to be a 1st since we were "only" 2nd last season. But now we are trying to be between 4th and 6th and Kyalami can be the promotion race. For that we need to be as good as well where 'the myths race'. The Bo$$ is much quieter now. But this is the 'prince of the races', would be very, very good to do well here'.

Monaco was also great. We dropped one position in the championship but we got another 4th and achieved the upgraded goal of 23 points in the 5th race. So, next race we can go on holidays or... try... a new stunt. We only have rookie time for experimentation and we look to be halving it to just 1 season. No more free money for "parties". It's a bet and we also need another kind of data. We are still going for points and the bigger the points the better.

R21 - The Experiment
Spa (R5)

Since we already have the 23 points that we wanted to have this race, we are going to try something new and almost opposing our... "Watsonian" strategy thought. Not that we are going to race relaxed but we are going to "stop in all the pubs in the street"... can be a really big... hangover too.

We had our season's grid parking spot. 3rd time 5 grids. Will take this spot every grid of the season. But the top of the grid is a bit upside down to say so. So not only us trying to make the race more interesting. We just hope to not play the clown in this one. Let's... "party" then...

It was another interesting race with many different strategies and lessons learned, even a couple unexpected, and our 3P strategy for 2 seasons (meanwhile turned into a 1 season strategy) just a bit scratched.
1st P for Points, we got them with our worst position this season. 2nd P for Profit we failed since we successfully started it 2 races ago. And still in the 3rd P zone but losing ground in the two ends. Above and below. We pitted in the last laps so as a few managers with other strategies. Could have been better just regarding the points.
We already have 2 of the next 23 points we aim to make in the next 5 races. We better get a couple of podiums for that.

R22 - Running Beyond the Fence
Poznan (R6)

We put ourselves in promotion positions since the 1st race and now we just have to fight to stay in them. Apparently the 2 first positions "are taken", then there are 5 for the 2 spots left. I'm sitting on the most wanted for the managers below. Just above the promotion line. It's our new pressure.

Let me just say that we don't look as fast as other times just because the last time I said it we were the fastest lap.

A pretty "standard" dry race. We are doing well in them and got 4th again. We need to get this kind of points all the next 4 + 5 races. Still losing in the difference to both cars above and below in the standings. From the 1st to the 10th everyone has a better car than us.

R23 - A Slight Variation
Istanbul (R7)

We make the same as our worst grid this season. Then we got to 6th in the race. And the competition didn't have these cars. We have the worst car of the top 10. This time around we are still aiming for "the 4th".

And we also make the same as our worst race position this season. Even so we keep the much wanted 4th. Now the 3 top places are taken too.
Good to see the girls racing in this group. One is consolidating "her" 3rd" and the other, started with me last season, is fighting for the "spot still left", but with the best car on track lately.
We will still wait a while longer and keep the original finance plan. We don't care if we fall off the green zone to 5th. We may still have a chance. Otherwise we go back to full plan A with the old goals. Take the Rookie Championship next season. We have to take this one. It will be the only good reason to fall back to Rookie if we promote before being champions.

R24 - Sticking to the Plans
Baku City (R8)

We didn't quite change the plan A, made last season. Just the results were much better than expected and we beefed up the goals "a bit". The original goals are still appealing and we can have "plan B" and C and last resort measures.

We start from 6th for the last "White Canvas" race. I mean, the car is going to get some more paint. Just ahead of us is our next cup draw opponent, who has been improving much lately and may even get into the "already taken" top 3 spots. We are going to finally have another round like one we had last season. We also hope to win 1 race. But now, let's see were we start the last half of the season.

A pretty "flat" race. From 6th to 6th. And we finally dropped off from the green zone. But we are pretty comfortable with it. All the ride at the top was "just" a big bonus and a good indication that we're heading in the right direction. This should be it. We are not going lower than this.
We are actually on the best spot we planned to finish and then go for the championship next year. And this group has no super-rookies to steal the righteous championships from rookies on the way to amateur. This has to be changed. We are going up now.
Our next cup draw opponent took another podium and is on the way to fight for the 3rd place now. We only look ahead. But he is a "marked" man. Or is it the other way around.

R25 - The Half Season Rehearsal
Yeongam (R9)

We start to test the chance to become Rookie Champion next season from this race to the end of this season. So, what we need to do is go up. Plain and simple. We thought about finishing it just below promotion zone, the nearest to 5th, but that's where we are but didn't approach it from below as it was supposed to happen. We are going to "scrap" White Canvas little by little.

The grid is not closed yet but our cup draw opponent is already there with me. It's another surprise. Can it happen again that I take the first race against a stronger team like my last, first and only interesting cup round. Head to Head is 3-5 and he won the last 4 duels. We shall wait and see. We look stronger in all the numbers. Hope it's not just qualifying mistakes. We don't have much experience with raining in full races, so this race can bring a surprise. Hopefully we'll be singing.
We start from 4th with the 3 standings' leaders ahead. The Q2 is bit surprising. Or we are being too optimistic or some are being too pessimistic. We almost always have better races than grids.

We got the "double". We repeat our last, first and only real cup draw so far and won the 1st round. Expectations: loose the next 2 rounds. And with it we got back to 4th in the standings (promotion/green zone), with a 5th in the race. Because our above target in the standings was exactly the same as in the cup. So, next will be 2 double interesting championship/cup races.
A smaller interest would be that our Head to Head is now 4-5. To make it "simple", 2 races with 2 in 1 and 1 extra interests. I think it makes 6 interests in a total of 2 races. Or 5, because it's rounded from 2.5 interests. :-)
If it's... nerve wrecking like this race, would be just awesome. We had two cars including the cup opponent just close behind us crossing the finish line. We sang in the rain and when we crossed the finish line the fuel went from 3% to 0%. We still had a... margin. Only the Bo$$ is having mixed feelings on this one.

This was perhaps the most difficult race setup I had. And we have only one good bet with a... small escape, if we could "read" this round well. Again, no reliable data but lots of gut feelings. Can only tell more after the qualify is closed. We are behind in our beefed up goals so a podium would be neaty. Otherwise the original doubling last season's points goal looks just around the turn.

We never tried such a strategy and unlike the usual, we might only learn if it works. And for that we might have bet in the wrong weather and went for an at least 2 periods of rain. After that we are in a safe zone, hopefully in the points.
As for my direct opponent, both in the cup and championship, I'm just behind him with shoulder to shoulder +0.004s slower in the 2 qualifies.
We start from 6th, another usual parking spot we take.

This one is going to take a little while longer. For I like to start from the bad. :-) There should be an "achievement" for this. I just hope Pipirelli doesn't cut the tyre supply amount and keeps it... unlimited for all races. I think the sponsor's last meeting is this race... The sponsor didn't show up, thankfully. We are not liking them either.

Unlike stated above, this was perhaps the race I learned most without the strategy working. Perhaps even about the game itself. The expectation of loosing the cup round came out to be true. He lapped everyone in the race except the 2nd place. And except for another car was the only not pitting for the weather change.
But I had another lesson to learn as a pre-newbie rookie and stopped the unbreakable record of 15 times! I believe it's also a record in all around the game's genre. Or should I say, "genre". "Only" 26 races and "already" into the Eternity of the game.
It's not our worst ever result because it was just 15 cars and one had already broke down... We still need 7 points until the end of the season and finish the closest to the green zone, preferably in 5th, to fulfill our original goals. The 1st P succession of Points ends here, a little Profit and off the Promotion zone again. The beefed up goals were just a sweet illusion.

R27 - In a Straight Line
Rafaela Oval (R11)

We will try to keep our slightly inclined straight line. Straight lines do not exist in real life. Proof of that is that we just hit a concrete road block. So hard that it felt like it was the other way around. Nothing compared with the previous season bumps and holes.
We still have the last cup round and have our position also threatened. In a kind of trio and another. If we win the draw we may be in a very similar situation to this draw. Another cup and championship duel. This race needs to be also straight to redemption.

It seems there is something telling us "6,... 6,...". Parking spot number 6 was again available for us. But we want a 5,... 5,... 5! Never been in an oval but we are repeating an experience that we've done once before. Let's call it the "Pub Street Ride". Cup opponent well above and championship's just behind... not for many turns. :-) It's exciting to see how the girls drive and usually take the lead early.

And 6 it is. In the race and now in the championship. It's our worst standings position this season. We can almost celebrate. But I feel we are still 5th because our friend from the class of 75 has more or less same amount of money as us but only in absolute terms. Anyway, we keep giving a fight to the best of the group.

R28 - Stepping Up
Austin (R12)

We have a full level 2 car now. We just need 4 points to double last season's and 7 to do as much as last season's 5th place. Not enough for this season. We would have to really triple it.

Grid 5th Nothing new so far. In the middle of the "big 5" with another "outsider". Ahead of my 2 main opponents above and below in the standings. One not for long. Car level 5 and increasing debt.
Race 6th We "consolidate our" 6th in the championship. But we keep aiming for the 5th. It's our "1st position" this season. Back to getting points every race.
Rookie's Grid 435th Anything above 500th is good for us.
Rookie's Race 397th This "race" (and grid) is dominated by "super" rookies. We are doing fine a few times.
Rookies' S76 Race 586th Recovering from the "disaster" of a couple of races ago.

R29 - A Different Ride

This circuit is a bit "different" for us, so another lecture coming our way one way or another.

Grid 5th Not that different from last race. We prefer the number 5 and let's see what happens next. Also starting ahead of the 2 closest opponents.
Race 5th We got "our 1st" position. Anything above would be very welcomed in all races in the next season.
Rookie's Grid 630th Not what we are aiming to but finishing above 500th looks doable. Just have to have made less mistakes than the other.
Rookie's Race 500th+ We believe that we got way above 600th and probably above 550th.
Rookie's S76 Race 542nd Our aim is to get as close as possible to our best ever, 259th. Looks very difficult. But we need a new illusion until the end of the season.
Nations Trophy 82nd Mozambique: Still leading the 1 Manager Nation's Trophy. The most competitive international 'trophy'. 33 nations.

It's getting clear that only 3 managers can still be champions. The 4th is well isolated and should get the last promotion spot. Then there is me and another class of 75 fighting for 5th. Then another isolated manager, another duo fighting for 8th and then... the other real fight. 6 managers where anyone can get to 10th. I was 11th last season.

R30 - The First Second Time
Bremgarten (R14)

We have been here before. Just last season. Or... preseason. It was 2 drivers ago. And we didn't save all the data we needed now. It's a waste of Supporter status.
We are going to anticipate one trick test from race 16. It can be too late then to learn something and to apply in Kyalami. Where we are going to win. So, just get out of our way then.
We have two additional records to beat. Our qualifying lap and race best lap in this circuit.

Race 5th It was one race that everything ran according to the plan. Even the test worked as expected. Within the expected margins. We are getting constant here too. 2 6ths and 2 5ths in the last 4 races. But next we want 3rd. Or above.
Rookie's Grid 313rd Pretty good too. I think it's our 2nd best ever, since we start registering. Considering that most experienced "rookies" are all upping their leverage. We come "right" behind.
Rookie's Race 482nd A good position too. There are dozens of better cars and worse finances.
Rookie's S76 Race 510th Here we can only aspire to finish above 500th too. The closest to 400th as possible.
Nations Trophy 80th Still dominating. We feel that we are going to get this "award". Best 1 manager nation".

R31 - The Start of a First
A1-Ring (R15)

We have no more tests to do this season. So it's just... "put all the meat in the grill". And see what happens. We want to win the last race. Perhaps the hardest to win. Or win one of these last ones. Can be right this one.
We are safe from promotion... It feels kind of weird to say this. So these last races will be like trying get to the championship next year. We won't have profit but we're doing pretty good in the finance standings. We have a bigger margin to party.

Grid 5th Could be better. There was a "slip of the finger" in one qualify. And for the race setup too.
Race 6th There was a couple of small mistakes on the way from practice to the finish line. But the end results were very positive. We are in a shoulder to shoulder for the 5th in the championship.

Two races to go. Almost 2 full seasons and we can still be surprised. You just to say something and hear the... negative silence to know something "new". The Bo$$ likes to joke saying I should hire an expert meteorologist to decrypt the weather reports. But he should hire a full lawyers' office just to read all the regulations. In a row and not in "columns". We're kind of ready for the last disappointment of... this short career. He is taking a look around again.
Anyway, we may, or may not, get promoted this season. Maybe someone else wants to be champion next year.

R32 - Last Turn

We've been here before too. So we expect to do a bit better. Or a lot better since it's Kyalami's "pre-race". The fight for the championship is very tight with 3 serious contenders. And the 4th looks like is getting ready to go... negative.

R33 - Where Dreams Start
Kyalami (R17)

This is not a drill. This is all the next season, plus whatever we can add along it.
We planned since the beginning of the season to win this race. But the chances look diminute. Unlike last season, no one in the top 8 is missing it. There are 3 contenders for the championship. Dreams can turn in reality.

Grid4th It's very good but we needed better yet.
Race4th We didn't even get a podium but we finish in a constant and great shape in the smallest and toughest race of a season.
Rookie's Grid342nd We can have our best position here too. Just in case we don't win our group race at "home".
Rookie's Race238th Above 250th and one of our best positions ever.
Rookie's S76 Race399th Above 400th!!! Coming from 653rd and after dropping from 259th. It's an achievement but we feel we could have gotten above 250th.
Nations Trophy80th Next season we are going to try to get into the "2 Manager's Nation's Trophy".

We accomplished almost all the goals and almost tripled our previous season points. Doubled the points, finished the highest just below the green zone but did not made profit. To aim for the championship next season will get us into Amateur in a bad financial situation.

S1 - Season Zero

- Dear Newbie Rookie, please understand that you are here for the good of higher interests and you should be glad for this sacrifice and say "Ave Elites, we who are about to die salute you". Worry not. It will be just a little amount of trauma. No one really dies. And you will become one of them. Eventually. Be optimist and strong. Don't quit. That's... like... dying.

- You should not start the game in Supporter status. If you really want everyone to have a taste of it, make it mandatory after race 10.
- Default dry tyre should be Medium. Many Newbies only get around this (race dry tyres choice) after a couple of races.
- [Breweing] Resets should be only for the under 30 million in money. (have to see this yet)

FOBY Riddlet: Find the "Machines' Site" to open the "Elite Sky". Can be done by meeting a "Wizard" but it's not so fast. And beware of the "Zealots in the Assembly", for they can turn you into a "Denial Zombie" for their flock with their fine "Rhetorical Sophisms".

The game is fun (and good) but the status quo is not.

R1 - Blindfold

R11 - The Restart

The game starts at race 11. For whoever survived so far.

Going to 11th race:
- Just in my group 2 (possibly 3 because missing a race may not be a quit) quit after 2 races. In less than 20 active managers each race. Biggest race was 21 cars. They gave it a try for sure.
- The loss of data doesn't look as bad as it promised to be. So far.
- Lost my flag livery too. Loved that distinct multi-color retro Benetton look.

Could have been a better restart but we made two small mistakes. Anyway, the team morale went up and we will improve until the end of the season to start attacking the points more often.

R12 - Trailing the Pack

First points for Gino just on his 2nd race in the team.
Great job. Scoring every other race?! Great average too. So far... :-)
Making risky bets with the fuel costed us 1 point. No biggie.

R13 - Almost Lucky

It could have been a lucky race but was another 11th.
The fuel was "so right" that we almost got the second best result of the career and we could also have scored twice in a row for the first time.
It's common sense, for ordinary people, that the weather reporter is a bit peculiar and had we a bit more "safety" fuel and would be celebrating big time!

R14 - The Breakdown

Not many conclusions to take from the strategy.
Since, from 11th in the grid to 4th (actually 3rd in a section of the lap), came out from my only pit-stop on 12th and when in 11th and expecting another half race up the ladder and into the points, on lap 55 the brakes broke down completely, and with it the engine went to waste too (makes all the sense but the Bo$$ will not like it) in the last 17 laps.
Série Noir? Our race before breakdown sends good signs. Morale keeps mounting.

R15 - The Rehearsal

Point for Gino. Yes, and for the team too. This is what could have easily happened in the last couple of races, scoring. But, next race is the last for Gino with us and we want him to... win! If possible. He got to amateur level and we will try to get him a podium. Even if it has to rain exactly when we make a pit-stop. We will toast all the remaining money for it. Obviously!

R16 - 35.238 Seconds from Glory

Attempt to contract the new driver before the last race of the season "failed". It's against the rules. It's probably cheating "save a bad manager no market time", in the elites obviously. The driver won't be available next season. Next season didn't start yet but it's already being a failure. Work scrapped and back to scouting.

Moving on! We just got our best grid position ever, also because 2 usual contenders didn't even qualify (another dirty little trick to learn from probably). Nothing new for Gino since he has 3 pole positions. If we finish in this position we will get to our second ever podium and add another to his sheet. He is all pumped up and looks like is going to burst into the Pro level in just one race.

Race and season are over. Congratulations to the winner of both, Jonatha . I wish I get as good as you in my second season too. You gave us no chances in this last race. Half a second per lap. See you in Amateur in the next... couple of seasons.

We got 2nd and fastest lap. The Bo$$ told me to add this, in a breathless hoarse whisper: "Gino! Gino! Gino!". He started the party a little earlier before the race finish. Because... you should take a look at the bill. He says "it's not my money yet". This car "doesn't exist" in the real game right now. We are going back to... Restart mode again. A self inflicted Reset too this time around.
