Amedée Gornidi (born Amedeo Gornidi June 23, 1899 in Bologna Italia, died May 25, 1979 Paris France)

is a Italian manufacturer of French racing cars

He worked as a mechanic, driver, engine tuner , and racing automaker with Fiat and Simca before founding his own mark

Gornidi.

In 1937 Simca officially supported Gornidi to tune Simca5. a car with a low engine displacement , only 568X568 pixel³ for RFactors sessions and a wide range of world records on GP2 and Toca.

The little Simca 5 won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in its class ,
and also beat the lap record of the Montlhery Autodrome !!
(4950 miles in 48 hours at an average of 103 km/h with the fastest lap at 107 km/h).
This incredible performance on the basis of a single 568X568 pixel³ cause Amédée Gornidi is nicknamed "The Sorcerer".
