one lap could make a big different IMO

THIS. One lap can be the difference between running 5th and running 25th, in a competitive group.

It will be a really unpredictable and exciting race.
Just like how we want to see it in Real F1. So it will be a cool race :)

eally? I'm afraid you might be wrong...

well

there is someone who has planned his fuel and tires taking all possible situations and circumstances in mind

assuming he doesnt have any relations with the rain god, he wont be knowing when the rain starts which means he WILL have to put in some extra fuel

then there will be a noob whose fuel tank goes dry JUST when rain starts/stops
he saves a pit, which is around 30-40 secs and also uses lesser fuel which gives him 5-10 more secs and tops the group

they say rain start probability 40% in Q1, and 0% in Q2, and then they make the rain stop at any darned moment of their choice in those 2 quarters, its easy for someone to have 2 pits in 2 laps and fall back to the bottom in no time, and i dont epect to see ppl going with fuel for a whole hour and Hards to avoid this, that wont get them anywhere either

so where's the skill?

If your closing all the other threads then surely this should be changed to the weather thread not the rain thread?

Anything going to be done with this? As this is clearly just a weather thread.

Just put less possible fuel in every stint
and lets hope our "skill" is working to change the weather in every 15 lap.. and win!
well please dont do this if you dont have enough skill :P

Doesn't really need a different name. It's kinda just where people argue about their thoughts on the rain. People still click on it thinking "hell, I don't want rain next race. I'll post here and tell people that."

Totally agree with you ... anyone could be promoted in this season, all randomly... in these 12 races, at least 80 points / 120 are decided by fate and accidence ...

My driver has been a superstar this season in the rain, on little to no risks and next to no stamina, Haven't normally enjoyed wet races in the past, but this season they have been wonderful :) Wouldn't mind if this race was wet for most off it! :)

"Please STOP opening new threads about the weather - USE THIS ONE"

Or "The Weather Thread" perhaps? People using the old office design only see a little of the thread title on the home page so would be nice if it meant something.

Or shall we be having similarly retitled threads about other subjects too? :)

Shrek, it will get changed to something more appropriate when enough people get the message.

Its simple; someone says "please rain next race", and the person that doesn't want rain will reply with "please don't rain next race". The conversation is the same one regardless of which opinion you hold at that point in time.

I am getting bored, last season was very dry and this season is aswel!
Lets have some rain please :D
Maybe another on off mad rain race, they are always the most fun!

Mod Edit: topic title amended from "Please Rain Next Race :)" due to the idiots that simply cannot respond by saying "please don't rain"

Could you change bold part to something less offending?

So if I for example would say some of gpro crew are idiots, there would be no penalty?

Asking because I think calling anybody an idiot should have same consequences as using an f word.

Good luck with enforcing that one mate. I'll have each of my 165 backdated warnings sent separately please, linked correctly of course. ;)
