Not even shocked anymore by this season. Meeting all goals in spite of the GPRO weather gods, so won't bother expressing discontent :)

OMG... another one !
I have done fine this season too but still feel this is getting a bit ridiculous. I think its due to global warming causing more convection rain.
Probably been said before but stats often say 0% of rain in the dry, but never 100% chance of rain. Why ??

Yes, 10th race with a chance of rain, as this will be GPRO Weather Guru Round 10 :D

Lottery race means that I don't need to have a random to get screwed.

The race forecasts are generated randomly. Deciding not to be a supporter because of something random is a little petty.

There's a large selection of possible weather forecasts and which one gets used for the next race is picked at random during the update. This has been confirmed by the game designers.

The nature of random sequences mean that seemingly unlikely long streaks are not just likely, but pretty much inevitable.

Yeah, but... rain, rain, rain... as roll a dice ten times, obtaining every time 1 ... "It means that I, like God, do not play with dice and do not believe in coincidence." (V for Vendetta)

Gambler's fallacy aka the Monte Carlo fallacy...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gambler's_fallacy

The most famous example happened in a game of roulette at the Monte Carlo Casino in the summer of 1913, when the ball fell in black 26 times in a row, an extremely uncommon occurrence (but not more nor less common than any of the other 67,108,863 sequences of 26 red or black, neglecting the 0 slot on the wheel), and gamblers lost millions of francs betting against black after the black streak happened. Gamblers reasoned incorrectly that the streak was causing an "imbalance" in the randomness of the wheel, and that it had to be followed by a long streak of red.
