there should be proper names when creating new teams
like names of f1 teams.

example: team williams, ferrari team, team mclaren.

these names are the proper names for creating new teams
we have to use proper teams that is in f1. because this
is grand prix racing online and its meant to be with real
f1 teams in it so my advice to you all is that from now on

I SUGGEST that u gve proper names to new teams

*gasp* David, you just did a double-post! You did the most forbidden of all forbidden things!

Anyway, people can name their teams whatever they want. If you don't like it, start a team with the name "A Real F1 Team". ;)

We have 464 GPRO teams.

Currently 20 F1 teams.

Does that mean we have to have 23 Team Ferrari, 23 Team Williams, etc, ?

Nope, it means that nearly all teams in gpro will be named: something "Ferrari" something.

They tend to get people banned if they don't add new or relevant content.

Particularly when they're as poor as the double posts above.
Could remind people that the 30 minute edit is there for a reason (also for fixing spelling mistakes, appalling grammar etc)
_ _ ___ _ _ __ __ _ _

Anyway on the actual topic, in addition to that above, what happens if some people ain't a fan of any specific team? And surely there should be the ability to add some character to the team instead of some F1 clones.

Wins my vote for the biggest fool to go on the GPRO forums. You create a team, and be creative about it, if it's a proper team, then it's original, if it's a created team by the leader, then good for them. eg. Jaguar Racing and Tiger Racing on GPRO.

Oh where are you now Justai? I'm sure he would teach some humility to this punk :D

You are totally free to put almost any name to your team, go ahead and do it, but don't try to drag everyone into the same hole as you so you end up having the coolest name...

BUT ATLEAST GIVE YOUR TEAM NAME SOMETHING PROPER

Ah definition of the word 'proper'
prop·er (prpr)
adj.
1. Characterized by appropriateness or suitability; fitting: the proper knife for cutting bread; not a proper moment for a joke.
2. Called for by rules or conventions; correct: the proper form for a business letter.
3. Strictly following rules or conventions, especially in social behavior; seemly: a proper lady; a proper gentleman.
4.
a. Belonging to one; own: restored to his proper shape by the magician.
b. Characteristically belonging to the being or thing in question; peculiar: an optical effect proper to fluids.
5. Being within the strictly limited sense, as of a term designating something: the town proper, excluding the suburbs.
6. Ecclesiastical For use in the liturgy of a particular feast or season of the year.
7. Mathematics Of or relating to a subset of a given set when the set has at least one element not in the subset.
8. Worthy of the name; true: wanted a proper dinner, not just a snack.
9. Out-and-out; thorough: a proper whipping.
adv.

And in what way is whiskey or cigar improper for GPRO?

Okay, okay - ppl, lets get nice again please. Its still no need to call other stupid or anything else. You could just agree that you have different opinions on that matter. But in the end the opinions of the admins count here what we find acceptable as teamname and what not.
