If you want an awesome circuit to add then look no further than Mount Panorama at Bathurst in NSW, Australia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Panorama_Circuit

This is the home of the Bathurst 1000, an annual 1000km road race for touring cars which has to be one of the best motor races in the world.

6.2km (3.9 mi) lap with an elevation change of 174m (570ft), 23 turns and a main straight that is 1.9km (1.2mi) in length. Top speed in touring cars is around 300kph (186mph) and lap time is just a little over 2 mins. Jenson Button ran a McLaren MP4-23 here in a promotion and managed a lap of 1:48.88

In GPRO terms it equates to a 50 lap race at an avg speed of about 200kph.

EDIT
I see that this has already been mentioned, but worth posting it again in my opinion :)
Check out the Jenson Button lap video at post /gb/forum/ViewTopic.asp?TopicId=1426&PostId=3764271#post3764271

+1

The track on which is written history. It was always a question, who is faster Formula 1 or Moto GP.

It has been proven on this track in 1988. ... The great champions Keke Rozberg - Mclaren Porsche vs Giacomo Agostini - Yamaha YZR 500 ccm.

Grobnik GP (Croatia)

http://content.crnojaje.hr/dealImages/275/GalleryImage275_1539.jpg

HISTORY

Motor racing in Croatia have long tradition that goes as far as begining of last century. Yet there are two locations that have special place in that field.

Preluk and Grobnik are symbols of past and present. Preluk, by many characteristics unique in the world when motorcycles are concerned, can even be compared to Monte Carlo in that line. For three decades Preluk has been a host of numerous competitions, national and international, that have developed from Adriatic Prix tAdriatic Grand Prix and on September 14, 1969 for the first time the race counted toward the world championship. This lasted till the end of 1977 when, long expected and announced, suspension of all road Grand Prix races was confirmed. This decision was legitimate considering speed and safety of drivers and audience. From this year on races could be held only on motordrome.

Grobnik field started to be a big construction site and in only few spring and summer months of 1978. the race-track was built on this field by strict international standards that was immediately named «Grobnik beauty».

Last Grand Prix race of world championship in 1978. was scheduled in FIM calendar to take place on September 17 in Grobnik. Many have doubted but it was held indeed! Nevertheless, everyone came even those that have already had the title. It is registered that the winners of Grobnik race-track were: Ricardo Tormo (50 ccm, Spain, Bultaco), Angel Nieto (125 ccm, Spain, Minarelli) and double winner Greg Hansford (250 and 350 ccm, Austria, Kawasaki) who had the first overall record on that race track which was 153,110 km/h.

Years have gone by and «Grobnik beauty» has not changed, infrastructure was too slow and it could not keep up the pace with other race-tracks in the world any more. Some great world aces kept coming back to Grobnik year after year. Aces like Lazzarini, Dorfilinger, Nieto, Cadalore, Managa, Lavada, Spencer, Kocinsky, Roberts, Lawson, Rainey raced on 25 year old asphalt.

By 1990. 13 races for world championship took place and the last one on June 17, 1990. Last big international race before brutal aggression on Croatia took place on May 12, 1991. and it was called Opatija Prix.

From the year 1978. when it was built until now, the race-track meets strick world standards of auto moto federation (FIA and FIM). Every year more and more race-car drivers, even world-known, visit motordrome Grobnik. We are happy to point out that motordrome is used daily for training practices, testing and various events and demonstrations. In the year 2004. it was used over 290 days and in 2005. we expect that number to be over 300. Almost all car producers are present such as Mercedes, Audi, Subaru, Suzuki, Aprilia etc.

From the year 1978. when it was built until now, the race-track meets strick world standards of auto moto federation (FIA and FIM) and has licence for all auto moto races except F1.

Add Belle Vue next.

It's totally unsuitable but it is my local circuit, and the only reason I'm suggesting it.

Maybe if I beg for 20 seasons like Antonio Rebelo it'll work.

There's already 4 US tracks. I don't think we'll get a 5th anytime soon.

Unless it's a current F1 track.

Time for a second Dutch track!

Originally created and used for motorsports (Superbike world championship), but also hosts races for Formula Renault 2.0 and Dutch supercar challenge. Good length, great amount of turns which makes it a technical track.
