Will be the "Traditional Silverstone" or the "New Silverstone"? The new track will be used in the 2010 race.

This has been discussed a long time ago. It will be the "old" Silverstone, as there aren't many changes (I think) and the old data would then be useless, as it would be a new track. (that's what I remember from that thread at least)

The cut off point for the 90% race distance rule will be modified and the laps you have to cover to be classified will be rounded down (instead of up). You will also be able to take over inactive teams if you were previously a member of them. If you weren't it will still be possible to do a take over for an extra fee

Can anyone explain in detail what GPRO crew want to say !!! as I didnt get it !!!

for the 90% rule.

As for the team matter, you can own the team you were part of, if you didn't quit the team and if it is inactive. And you can own inactive teams for an extra fee, which means you'll have to pay a bit for it.

After seing the new circuit I take back what I said. The changes aren't minor in the Silverstone track. However, I remember reading somewhere that the track will remain the same in GPRO, because of the old data stored and such.

Only problems I see, No Australian GP to open with. I'm tradional, I like the Aussie GP opening the season.

Monaco 1st race will ruin alot of serious Rookies hope to race at Monaco thanks to the 100 riskers in Rookie.

I love the introduction of new tracks though.. All for bringing new tracks into the spotlight..

Anderstorp, Spa, Yas Marina, Paul Ricard, the Nurburgring and Silverstone to finish. Solid season overall. Can't wait, should be fun. But Interlagos should've been one of the last tracks, Montreal should be Adelaide and Adelaide and Monaco should swap. Then it's a perfect calander in my opinion ^_^.

Does that mean that we won't have to put up with Monaco for the umpteenth time after midyear?

I known you guys are going to flame me, but i do not like all this changes every season.

Tt's not realistic!
F1 is all about precision...
We need precision (and therefore data) to prepare for a nice race.

We this new track every season, it's like, well, just a game.. :)
