I believe we are still recruiting as we still have 1 available space left.

If all your life you have dreamed that you wanted to join a team of trolls on GPRO then now is your opportunity, and you have a pretty sad life.

Anyway:

Quote ( Abijeet Khanna @ August 5th 2011,16:50:38 )

Join the trolls now and use our great advantages, including:
-A friendly team consisting of the most active and nicest people on gpro
-A fantastic external forum with 1000s of game related posts
-A conclusive set of race setups and strategies
-Guidance on how to survive the horrors of amateur
-Help on how to find that perfect driver
-The experience gathered through collectively competing in over 1000 races
-Plus so much more in a growing team

What we want from you -
-A friendly, active person.
-A talkative person.
-Try not to be a team-hopper
-And be able to speak english

You think you have all those?
Well then, apply to Jed Lilly: /gb/ManagerProfile.asp?IDM=59836

Since I'm not Jun Ho or Laila Britale I can't post in the News forum so I'll post this here:

We're 100 today!

Back at the beginning of Season 22 Jun first approached me about creating a new team on GPRO, I was at Scuderia Fernando Alonso at the time, a great team but slowly dying as Marius and Daniel left. This made joining Team Jun a appetising prospect. Not much more was said about it until near the end of the season when things had to be done (I was a relegating amateur so only had a few races to create the team and Jun was just promoting from rookie for the first time). I was to create the team with Jun joining to become the leader. The team name was still undecided just before I had to create the team, in hindsight we had left it too late to create an whole new team, the plan from Jun was to have the team as an offshoot of Britpack Racing with the teams name reflecting this relationship.

Joining up with an existing team however couldn't be done due to the sheer lack of time we had to get set up, I had PM'd Britpack but never got a reply, not that I had long to wait anyway. The name “The Trolls” was originally suggested by Riley, we loved it. This allowed the team to be created so I said my goodbye's to what remained of SFA and started The Trolls, the first race was the finale of season 22, although that was a mere single car entry, I retired from the race. Over the season break is where the great things happened: Jun joined to lead the team and with him he bought a great bunch of managers. Joseph came from Honda F1 with a huge amount of game experience and knowledge of the higher divisions. Abijeet left his own team (Cheetah GP) to join us, Riley came from Victory Racing, Cole Fainter had been leader of his own Horsepower Racing team but joined the trolls as one of the most promising teams in GPRO. Alex Hawkins a GPRO manager for 12 seasons also joined as a founding member. These 7 managers made the trolls one of the most active and exciting teams in the whole game. Over the course of the season the final places were filled by Dominik Karda, Peter Olsson and Teemu Toikka and Simon Forth as Cole Fainter abandoned us.. During the season Jun created our first team forum and we quickly filled it with silly games, chat and FOBY.

The dream team finished our first season deep into the top 300. Over the next few seasons managers joined and left, many though are still with the team. I became the leader at the beginning of season 25, Jun left to join the 'retired' Riley at Phoenix Light Racing (a project that died within a matter of races). Our current team logo was made by Abijeet to replace the original made by Jun soon after the teams creation.

The next huge event for the Trolls was at the beginning of September, Daniel Tackaberry bought it up on facebook at the same time the trolls team forum had a thread about joining up with another team, Chaos Racing are also a young team who had been created just after the trolls, I had even talked with Daniel about him creating a team before it happened as he had just left another team and the trolls had no team spots open at the time. Chaos and the Trolls had worked together before too, on Forza the Chaos-Trolls Ferrari 550 was a dominating car and won every race crashed every race in a huge fire-ball.

The merger meant a new joint forum was created and gave an extra 10 clever heads to the Trolls progression, and looks to give the trolls the boost it needs to break us into the higher ranks with our first pro manager next season going to be Abijeet (if some things happen in the next few races). The future looks bright for the trolls with exciting events upcoming, for example a team livery will be with us very shortly, on track events also show the same promise of getting us up into a consistent top 200 team.

Here's to the next 100 races!

I suppose we better fill our 10th spot, we're a great team in a development season (thats why you should ignore the team standings), next season we should be back where we belong, deep in the top 300. As for new recruits I'd love for an active manager who will post frequently in our external forum (shared with our sister team Chaos), please send me a PM to be considered. Applications without a PM will be ignored unless you're Justinas S Leandro Sereno.
