Rumours are appearing stating that the Valencia GP may be cancelled this year as they are failing to stump up the cash to host the race.

Possible replacements would be the return of the French GP...

To drive Valencia = Nice.

To watch it = "Sorry love, I was taking a nap, what did you say happened"?

As David says, Valencia is one of the most boring races on the calendar, and if the French GP were to replace it I would do a mini rain dance!

Agreed, it's only fun if you have F1 Challenge, a season 96 mod and the track, as most good cars have a huge crash after turn 1 :)

I blew the engine once there too

It uses public roads... And the bumps woud make the cars jump a lot.

Some time ago there were some talks about hosting French GP on the Bugatti Circuit in Le Mans, but nothing came out of that. Shame, would be really cool. Paul Ricard is nice, but a bit too flat for my taste.

With 3/4 french drivers on the grid and in teams this year there is every reason to let them represent their country on home soil. For some reason I always say we should have races in each drivers country, although not all are possible e.g. India has only just got a race and Finland doesn't have the facilities yet. But if there is a F1 standard track in a drivers country there should be every chance to have a GP there. and not two in one country....

I agree but their are no female drivers at F1 quality at the moment, in fact only one woman driver has ever really been good enough to be at the sharp end of a major championship, Michele Mouton.

Apparently there might be no more Melbourne GP, after its contract ends in 2015 according to Bernie. Would be such a shame if Melbourne wasn't on the calender :(
